Actually, the best part of the whole special is the Boba Fett cartoon. The worst? Carrie Fisher thinking she can sing. Ugh!

Why are you trying to hurt us like that?
Can't we let that damned thing die an unmourned death?

I'd say that it was badong, but I have already reserved that word for "Portal", which was worse.

How about "The Portal Holiday Special", or "The Holiday Special: Special Edition"? If it's nto bad enough the first time around, try again.

I remember seeing it back when it aired, everyone going to Chewie's family's place for a holiday.
I didn't remember the Boba Fett cartoon until someone here mentioned it. Even then it's extremely vague.
I remember the two TV Ewok movies slightly better.

No, this is the first I've seen X-E. I was just out looking for some info on shows I saw as a kid (Kroft Superstars, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, etc.) and went looking for the holiday special too. I vaguely remember the holiday special after seeing the screencaps, but don't really remember any of it; I was 7 or 8 when it aired. It sounds pretty bad from the pages at X-E, but I didn't download it to see for myself...
...the Internet has pretty much cured my case of terminal curiosity

There really should be a warning attached to this thing advising viewers to remove all sharp objects from arms' reach. I felt the sudden urge to drive the pencil in my hands through my eyes after fifteen minutes.

15 minutes? how the hell did you last that long, please, tell us your secret.
