At some schools, they don't talk about Christmas. Instead, they discuss Hannukah, Ramadan, and Festivus, since nothing is mentioned about the "seperation of synagouge and state".

Anyway, a very, merry, Chrsitmas to all, whether it's about Santa, Christmas trees, Jesus, Winter Solstice, or just trying to make a cheap buck.

You know, perhaps we should produce an animated Christmas family TV special about a grumpy Scrooge-like bear who hates Christmas, entitled "Mr Bear's First Happy Christmas". All the cute furry animals of the forest (voiced by us) decide to cheer him up, so we all go out and collect presents for him to show him how much we love him. Then Mr Bear breaks down into tears of happiness as all the animals of the forest engage in one big special Christmas group-hug. Then the point-of-view zooms out of the snowy forest, the closing credits roll, and "Wishing You a Merry Little Christmas" is sung by the chick who does the voice of the kind-hearted mother deer.

Anyway, Merry Christmas/Holiday Season/Solstice/Cthulhumas/Sithmas/Whatever to all members of this board, even to those whom I don't agree with.

Here's the ending of that animated Christmas family special that I mentioned. I think it needs a little something. Can anyone here suggest improvements?

Scene 54 - EXT - Fairyfriend Forest - Evening

In a clearing in the snowy forest, all the CUTE FOREST ANIMALS are gathered around MR BEAR.

MR BEAR
Y'know, I feel kinda funny.

BABY BUNNY
Why do you feel funny, Mr Bear?

Cue heartwarming Christmas music.

MR BEAR
Well, it's snowing all around us, but I feel kinda warm and tingly inside.

MOTHER DEER
That's the warmth of our love, Mr Bear.

FELICITY FAWN, standing between MOTHER DEER's forelegs, joyfully nods her head.

MR BEAR
(Surprised)
Y'mean ... Y'mean you love me? You all (sniff) love me?

FERNANDO FROG jumps onto MOTHER DEER'S back.

FERNANDO FROG
(Phony Spanish accent)
Why shouldn't we? We're all family in Fairyfriend Forest!

MR BEAR
(A tear rolls down his cheek)
Family? ... But (sniff) ... But I never had a family.

MOTHER DEER
But Mr Bear, you ALWAYS had a family all around you. If you only knew that, then your life would be so much happier.

MR BEAR
Maybe your right ... (sniffs) But now I DO feel kinda happy ... I feel ... (Bursts into tears) I love Christmas!

ALL CUTE FOREST ANIMALS
And we love you, Mr Bear!

All the CUTE FOREST ANIMALS close around MR BEAR in a great group hug.

P.O.V. zooms out through the snowcapped trees of Fairyfriend Forest as more animals join in Mr Bear's warm circle of Christmas friendship.

CLOSING CREDITS roll. The voice of MOTHER DEER sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in the same sweet lullaby tone of her musical number earlier in the movie.
