I'm not allowed to comment though about microsoft, and I'll try not to :( . Just posting this is kind of borderline
isn't it spanky?
I'll also post all articles in one post to avoid being accused of inflating post count.

Fortunately I use an old printer that doesn't contain these chips (B&W Canon BJ-230)
It's an EU law that doesn't apply in the US anyhow. I despise HP for their printers and home computers.

Microsoft's castrated JVM in previous versions of windows couldn't run standalone java apps.

Anyways I agree that Macromedia's tech is superior. Java is slow. However Macromedia is limited to web GFX and such, and small games, while Java can function independently, so it's not a good comparison. There is also no OSS implementation of Flash.

Inkjet printers down, cellphones and encrypted TV devices left to go...
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.

As much as Microsoft has done wrong in the past FORCING them to ship someone elses competing product with their own is just plain wrong and probably violates their rights. That particular verdict is unlikely so stand.

No offence, but it's just that we really don't care...

Also, it's kinda shallow to only wait 22 minutes before you whine. And when you post something when it's about 1 AM or Midnight in the US, expecting replies.

That is all...
