Simple question I was wondering about that you could please answer for me...
If I punch someone in the face (on average) how much energy in joules have I imparted to them?

You could possibly classify anything under 'science' somehow if you really wanted to... all I need is a single #, not really some kind of discussion. Hopefully you know what I mean

*weighs fist* difficult to get a precise reading, ~7oz it seems though.
Guessing that my arm moves ~1.4mps (looking at clock I can make a punch in .5sec and arm is ~.7m long)

I know you want to put this into KE formula to get a result but aren't there other factors such as the movement from rest of my arm? Or maybe not. I'm not sure so whatever anyone says is probably more right than what I come up with
