What Christmas songs personally annoy you? One of mine is Christmas in the Carribean. It's okay the first time you hear it, but I swear, if I hear Jimmy Buffet croon "We got everything but snow" in that nasally voice if his one more time...

They're all annoying.

Hell, one of the radio stations in town plays Christmas music from the day after Thanksgiving until Tomorrow all the time. I don't recall hearing the Jimmy Buffet song ever. However, I want a hipopotumas for christmas, feliz navidad, and I'm getting nuttin for christmas can go to hell.

Most Christmas music is annoying to start with. It is made even more annoying when the same songs are played over and over again. The annoying factor increases further because many of the songs sound the same.

There are some good christmas song, my radio's been playing them everyonce and a while(its a rock station). Off the top of my head I can remember "I'm getting Sex Toys, for Christmas" and a song about driving sober for Chirstmas. Also, it you catch them on the radio, the transiberian Orcestra Chirstmas songs aren't bad, BUT DON'T GO TO THEM LIVE! *shutter*

Hey, the Chipmunks "Christmas Don't Be Late" song is hilarious.

I don't really care for Christmas songs....but I find Weird Al's Christmas At Ground Zero to be quite funny!

The Xmas song I really hate is probably Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. I dunno why, but I always found the song to be condenscending....you know? Like "Hey peasant. Have yourself a merry little Christmas in your shack. I'm going to enjoy a nice XXXMas orgy with three 18 year old blonde chicks . MWAHAHAHA!"

I absolutely HATE the song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" You know, that one from the 80's where a zillion stars got together to make money for a good cause. Yes, yay about raising money or whatever, but the song itself is SO ignorant. Asking if the starving inhabitants of Africa know it's Christmas. Do they give a fuck? Do they celebrate Christmas? Don't they probably have to worry more about surviving the week as opposed to which carols they're going to sing to their neighbours?!

Gah! So egocentric!!!!! I detest that song. No wonder everyone hates us Americans, when we produce such shite as that.

Ah yes, those "Save the Children" things from the '80's, my parents have a copy of that record somewhere in the house *shudder*. There's this other one that goes something like "We are the world, we are the children, let's something something bleh" oh my god that song just makes me want to break something! Why can't they play a nice Christmas song like 2000 Miles by the Pretenders, or the Barenaked Ladies & Sarah McLachlan version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen?

Since I have a strict "No Christmas Music" policy on my home and car stereo, I don't listen to them enough to have one I really hate. Though it takes all of three notes of that goddamned Chipmunks song to send me into a rage.

Not yet I don't think, but it looks like I'll be digging thru his music collection soon! I went with him to the Tori Amos concert last month and it was so cool! I hadn't really known much about Tori before then but I think I'm in love now...

I agree Iggy, that song is utter crap. As well as the 80s 'Do they know it's Xmas'. I had wondered the same thing. How ignorant can they possibly be. If I'm not mistaken though, it's not by a bunch of American artists. Some might have been present, but I think it was mostly Euros.

One last thing. What the fuck is a Kristinmas?!?
