Super Bowl Teams

My picks for the conference championships:

NFC
Green Bay
Philly

AFC
Oakland
Miami
(Tennessee might replace one of these two.)

What do you think? Who's in the Super Bowl?

I'll say Green Bay vs. Miami.

Hmmm, well, whoever it ends up being, they'll invariably be the team I wasn't rooting for. And since I'm only an american football fan exactly once a year . . . ehh. I'll say "Other"

Missed this before. GREEN BAY, BABY!!!!! :D

And if you doubt my allegiance for some reason, check out what I got for Christmas: a Green Bay sweatshirt, Green Bay socks, and (best of all) CHEESEHEAD EARRINGS!! Too funny. So yeah, I'm all for GB. Rah! :D

With some cool version of a time warp, the Chiefs will go all the way.....

I was hoping that the new stadium in the Phoenix area wouldn't go through so the Cardinals would leave for LA or something so we could get a real football franchise in this state. Even if they just left it would be an improvment so we wouldn't have TV blackouts on the stations that would be carrying their games if they'd sold enough tickets.

It's hard to believe that through a strange fluke the Cards were actually in first place in their division for awhile.

Hard to argue with the NFC championship being Green Bay vs. Philly. That one will rest on homefield advantage.

The Super Bowl I would love to see is Green Bay vs. Oakland, but I think the Raiders are gonna choke early. My AFC pick is Miami.

I'd like to see Green Bay win, but somehow, the team I root for always loses, and I want Green Bay to win...

GO RAIDERS!!!

As I Jets fan, I'm still trying to grasp the concept of "winning consistantly" :P

But as such, I'm thinking Green Bay or Philly walks away with the Vinny L Trophy.

Trade ya. The Cardinals have a problem with winning period. Unfortunately they've managed to avoid the absolute bottom of the NFL so most people don't think of them as the suckiest franchise in the NFL. Thing is, they've only been to the playoffs a couple of times in their entire existence. They've run out of 2 citites (Chicago & St. Louis) where other teams have managed to do alright. The orginization sucks.

As for the choices I'd kind of like to see Green Bay or Miami win. Okland if they play some hosebag team and kick the crap out of them. I've never really liked the Eagles but they've been growing on me but I just can't get excited about them without Donovan McNabb. They may be winning without him but I don't find them interesting to watch.

:) I’m not really a huge GB fan, but I have to say Favre rocks!!! Zaia, did you at least cheer alongside the locals when the Ravens were in the Super Bowl?

I’m pulling for an AFC win. I’m a huge fan of both Miami and Oakland. I would even route for Tennessee more than any of the NFC clubs.

If the fucking Ealges hadn't played like a bunch of 3rd grade sissies yesterday, I'd be crowing about how there's gonna be a parade down Broad Street in about a month and a half. As it is, I'll hold off on my predictions until I see what the Packers do in the Meadowlands today (J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!)

And how BOUT them Jets? I haven't seen a beating that bad since I watched Hamburger Hill :D

Well I had been pulling for Miami but with their choke against New England today, they’re out of the playoff hunt. *shakes head*

Let’s see Oakland go the distance. :D I think if they get by Tennessee, it’s Oakland/Green Bay in the Super Bowl. Of course, Green Bay’s choke today didn’t seem encouraging.

KC's performance yesterday was pathetic. Fuck Oakland and go Greenbay and/or Eagles.

I believed Philly was the NFC team to watch earlier in the season, but they’ve been struggling. If Green Bay doesn’t get there I think Tampa will be representing the NFC.

Either way, I’d bet money on an AFC victory. Oakland can beat any NFC team any given day.
