I have gremlins on right now and I was wondering what would happen if you fed Gizmo after midnight and he became a gremlin, do you think he would still be nice? And....what if you dropped a gremlin in the ocean?

Well... mythologically, gremlins multiply with water, so you're looking at a sudden exponential burst of gremlins. At that point I'd call in a nuclear strike.

He'd kill the entirity of Humanity. Not even frebreeze could stop him(only cause it would decide not to)

In response to your second question, ick. I remember accidentally leaving some fluff balls in my pack when I visited the underwater cave a few times. It simply was not funny how aggravating that got. The gremlins couldn't kill me and I couldn't kill them fast enough. The only possible way for this to end well is if only fresh water works. We know beer isn't pure enough to do it, maybe salt water isn't either.

It concerns the creatures known as "gremlins" from the early/mid-1980's film titled Gremlins.

Basically, they were little brown-and-white teddy bear-sized creatures, with 3 problems:

1. If they get wet, they multiply like crazy (1 glass of water created 4-6 new ones within a few minutes, a local swimming pool created a horde).

2. They hate bright light. Normal household lighting is uncomfortable for them; high-power artificial light blinds them temporarily (including flash bulbs); and sunlight kills them.

3. Feeding them after midnight makes them go into a coccoon stage, after which they reemerge with dark green scales, nasty claws, sharp pointy teeth, and really bad attitudes.

Gizmo was the good gremlin adopted by an American boy, and was apparantly different from other gremlins in that he wasn't innately bad or evil.

As far as the original question goes... the movies never say. The official novelization, though, actually provided further background information on them, including their origin (failed alien genetic experiment to produce an immortal "pet" creature, IIRC), Gizmo's origin (one of the first, if not the prototype, and apparantly the only immortal gremlin), some actual involved dialogue between Gizmo and the others (including the knowledge that eating after midnight would negate Gizmo's immortality and change his personality from good to bad), and that the initial gremlin stage is apparantly genetically programmed to prevent them from engaging in violent activities.
