Holy shit. You should have that cat de-clawed. My dog has never tried something like that. Like all dogs, he just sniffs.

It's too expensive to get him declawed. He's still a kitten so I hope he'll gro out of it. #$#$%#

ROTFLMAO...sorry dude...oh shit that's funny...sorry

Okay back to some seriousness...personally either de-claw him or teach him some lessons or something because seriously cats really shouldn't be that aggressive( I mean mine used to hiss at me...now well they understand better...ah the water bottle and a good twap)

Next time it jumps at you, try to give it a good smack while its in mid-air. Not enough to hurt it of course, just to really get its attention.

Seriously though, if it bit you then you really need to go have a doctor look at it. Cat bites tend to turn ugly with all that bacteria they have in their mouths. My uncle got bitten by a cat once on his hand, and after a couple of days it was really swollen and nearly lost most of his hand from the resulting infection.

Kittens are really aggressive. When mine was young, he'd do the same thing, except it would be my hand. He'd bite and claw and scratch it until I had cuts and scratches all over it. Even throwing him across the room didn't make him stop--he'd run back and latch on again.

Get another kitten. They take their aggression out on each other. Otherwise, just wait for him to grow out of it. Once they reach about a year old, they settle down into more normal cat priorities, like sleeping all day and knocking shit off tables.

Too expensive? How can you put a price on the safety of your little fireman?!?

Either bash the cat and teach him a lesson, get him de-clawed, or wear a cup around the house.

*snicker*

You can clip their claws without declawing them while he grows up in the house.

*cough cough, snicker*

Quit putting catnip all over your scratching post.

*snort, Can't hold it in any longer.*
