These three became the first US casualties after the US occupation authority transfered power to the provisional Iraqi government. I counted one as a great friend and all three as brothers. Our unit is still deeply affected by their loss and it would mean more than I suppose I could or should say if everyone could just take a moment or two out of their day to think about them and all the rest of our brothers and sisters whom we have lost.
