The subject of software piracy came up recently and I got curious...how many people here are software pirates.
So are you a software pirate? And what do you think of software piracy?

I will neither confirm nor deny. Anyone who tries to prosecute me can burn in Hell, courtesy of the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America!

Well right now I have windows 2000 installed but only have a license for XP. That's it, hell I think that might be legit but I'm not sure. I used to be when I was younger but the way the I look at it now, if somethings worth having it's worth buying. You can normally get away with freeware stuff anyway.

I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility that I may or may not have illegally obtained software for my computer.

"The government, the promised me a measly little sum
But I've got too much pride to end up just another bum.
Then I thought, who gives a damn if all the jobs are gone?
I'm gonna be a PIRATE on the river Saskatchewan!!! "

This thread is kinda pointless, since all we can say are either no or "can neither confirm nor deny".

Currently using no illegal software, since the only game I like (HW:C) was obtained legally, and I have replaced all bootlegs with OSS equivelents.

Saying "can neither confirm or deny" is equivalent to saying yes

I suggest you edit your message, since what you are doing is illegal anyways.

I'm so bad with computers that I would have no idea one way or the other as to what I am/have/will do. Damn technology (though I cannot live without it)!

Yes, but basically all of it was off the shelves so the copyright holders can go to hell.
