Does anyone know if there is a way I can turn off the cultural victory option after Ive started a game. I did not see anything obvious in the .ini file or registry.

I thought when you set up the game parameters you could...if not...that sucks...hmmm

I'm not aware of any way to change it after the fact. If your loseing that way your civilization just sucks. Normally I have a city defect to me every other turn towards the end of the game.

Maybe going to a lower difficulty level next time. I don't think there is a way to change it but you could always cheat. I don't know how the cheats works exactly. Involves changed your saved game file names I think.

Heh, I love when that happens. Whenever I see another civilization park a city on some god forsaken piece of dirt near my civilization, I go "Hey, they are building me a city." It's even better when you get major cities this way.

No, Im going to win a cultural victory and I do not want to. Id like to take the game to end.

Damn, just about everyone "assumed" I was losing. You all are a positive bunch.

The Civ3MultiTool can do that, and can be found here.

Only problem is that it doesn't work with PTW saves.
