What gives you the greatest pleasure/Satisfactio in life?”

Just what are the things in your life that give you the most: Satisfaction/pleasure/enjoyment/happiness/fulfillment etc’ in your experience?
Do you place a focus on these, or do you spend more time on other things such as wage-slaving (If money is not high up on your list) or other pursuits? (And if so is there a reason?)
Order the following “Things” in the rough order of how important/Good/Satisfying/etc’ they are to you:
A) Your immediate “original” Family.
-Parents, loved siblings, grandparents; The morning discussions, family vacations, birthdays, “Just me and Da’”, Love (Unconditional), etc’) …
B) Doing “Good Deeds”
- Charity, holding the door for a blind man, helping a cripple onto the bus, finding a man a job etc’.
“A good deed is the only thing in life that can’t be taken from you – Money, family relationships, a house and so on can be, but a good deed can’t
C) Achievement
-Being Genuinely Good at ‘something’ (Be it Ski, fencing, chess, debating, technical quantification, math, Photography, running, etc’), Scaling the peak of a mountain, Doing my first new black [Or red] Ski run of the season, finishing a study/course with “flying colours”, Winning a competition (Such as fencing) or tournament, finishing a high climb up a ladder despite vertigo…
D) Physical pleasure
- Sex, Good Food, a massage, Ski [for me at least at high speeds], sleep, Winning a competition, exercise (For some people ), Adrenaline (extreme sports [Skyjumping, race car driving, motorbikes…], living on the edge, danger) etc’…
E) Power and superiority
- Being better than someone specific, control, “The power of life and death”, ruling a group, Beating an opponent (Physically, mentally or socially), superiority, Being the “Alpha” male/female of a group, holding someone’s life in “the palm of your hand”, etc’…
F) Social interaction
- Being with friends, succeeding at a speech (Such as at a book writers conference when you where younger with a large amount of noteworthy authors and you had a spot with the translator of the HP books) …
G) Entertainment
-Books, music, movies, plays, musicals, TV, games, the Internet…
H) Animals/pets
- Unconditional love, raising and preserving a life, Good deeds (In the case of strays or saving 6 abandoned puppies in the middle of a nightly navigation expedition in the desert and getting them to an animal shelter in the dead of night).
Your Own “new” family unit
Your wife/husband/life partner, your own children/new family.
J) Praise, Fame and Glory
- Importance, people talking about you, immortality, Ego, pride, glory…

- Personally My own list is roughly:
- A - Yeah I love my family, “big whoop, ‘wanna’ fight about it?”
- B - Call me a sucker if you will, but I can remember every noteworthy good deed I’ve done, and it makes me feel good inside, Karma being interpersonal in my opinion).
- C. D - (This may switch changes with C if I ever leave the AYVB).
- G - Mainly the books, and takes up the second or third largest proportion of my time from the issues discussed here.
- F - Is greater than G but much harder to achieve and has greater drawbacks, nonetheless I’m improving my speech-craft and making practice speeches, despite it being one of my main sources of concern, heartache and worry.
- J - Yeah, I love being complimented on my tastes, photography, skills, “resume” or accomplishments.
- E - Nasty to say, yet power is indeed the ultimate aphrodisiac (and drug),
- I just wish I had more than the faintest of tastes of it [Bwahaha].
