I'm honored.
Though, Stravo and Mike are still the masters and I am but the apprentice.

Well, that wasn't the first choice for the cast. Originally I was going to have Enrique Iglesias as me, but I was worried about his ability to act with humor and gravity, so I had to go down the sexiness ladder about half a step to Banderas. As for you, it turns out John Belushi has been dead for like, 22 years or something. And the Gorilla went cheap.
What about John Godman? Or Kevin Smith ? or Meatlaf ?
Or failing that would an orangutan be a better choice?

Heh, my bad. Sorry; when I think of SW/ST fics, they are the primary authors I'm familiar with.
Why I'd want to see my own, Manifest Destiny, turned into a movie of course. Cast of thousands! Though I'd have to get around to writing the second act.

Phatom Rewrite! by the above quoted individual, a vast improvement over the original.

I guess I'll have to finish 'Attack of the Rewrites' for you then.

OK, cockles cooling off quite quickly and other parts getting rather angry...
Oh shit! Here comes Rob Smash!
On a related note. I think How Stravo got his Groove back would make a funny series. With StarCrossed or Wong's fanfic as movies. In Starcrossed, make it a 6 movie long thing probably.
Justice League, Super-Villain Carnage "Carnage Rules!" Cult of the Kitten Mew...The Black Mage with The KnifeSD.Net Chronicler of the PastBun Bun is my hero. The Official Verilonitis Vaccinator
De Imperatoribus Galacticis or Galaxy of War or Conquest would all make the kinds of movies I'd go to.
p.s. Manifest Destiny is pretty cool too, with its mix of the New Republic being a bad-ass, and a Sith masterminding the whole thing for his own dark ends, like Palpy in the Prequels, makes it pretty cool IMO.

Manifest Destiny is awesome, one of the best fan fics I have read. If completed it would make for a fantastic film.
Starcrossed is good but is too long for a single movie, A series is needed. Plus Starcrossed gets somewhat long winded and boring after Nemesis subdued the Federation and lord Darkstar appears.
Conquest would make for an awesome 2 hour film. It does not have much character developmen but the story and action are great.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
I want to thank you all for the support you have given to DIG, indicating a continuing fanbase which I am very pleased to have. As a matter of information, Chapter the Eighteenth should be out in less than ten days.

In my opinion StarCrossed would be more fit as a series, with each chapter as an episode. Although some might consider this something like a soap opera, it's sheer size makes it rather unsuited for a single movie or even a trilogy
Cain and Abel would also make a better choice than the Matrix sequels.
I still have to read more before making other sugestions.
Ahem. With that out of the way, I'd want to see Chuck's WWE saga turned into a whole series of movies. Also DIG and Starcrossed.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster
I'd support any one of several of Mike January's fanfics, all of which can and should be read at the archive. I have always regarded his work as the principle inspiration for getting started on my own.
