The insanity
Of humanity
In all its religious glory,
And the morality
And the barbarity
Of closed-mindedness.
The conformity
And the deformity
Of sheltered lives
All
The time we are wasting
And the times we are facing
Are not in vain
Cuz the hate we are breeding
And the fear we are keeping
Are passed down to our
Kids
Who see all and know all
Are corrupted, then, by all
The so-called “role-models”
Who ad for the malls,
Our major downfalls,
Cuz we can’t keep clear
Minds
Are to be cherished
And not to be perished
Why?
For knowledge, we carried,
And knowledge, we married,
To keep ourselves
Sane
Is an overrated word
That all of us have heard
Much
More than we want to
But know that we love to
Keep it in our
Heads
Rolling on the battlefields
Knowing what it will yield
Being
Death becoming life
Born once more into strife
Of
What we like to call the world
Not all our plans unfurled
Yet
When we are surprised
That people tell us lies
We chew them up like
Dogs
Are commonly known as
Man’s best friend (my ass!)
But
Cats are to be oppressed
Along with women and the rest
Or so we once thought
In
A previous humanity
Leading to today’s insanity.
