Request for the Draka Fanfic Authors, and a Question
Can you all please post links to your writings here? There’s apparently a lot of older Draka fanfics hidden in the back pages of the forum. I’d like them under two categories: one for the fanfics in the current World War II Draka universe by the Duchess of Zeon, and one that is for far future/crossovers.
On a risqué note, I have to ask something about the original Draka books. I’ve read the story about Helene, the Draka agent, as well as a book review on Amazon.com, which state that the Draka women are… bisexual. Is that another one of Stirling’s wankeriffic wanky wank-points, or does that actually mean something (it reveals something about the Draka, or it’s important to the plot).
...Probably not.

We're planning on starting a webpage where all of the works along with some OOC information will be posted.

Female bisexuality is stated in the series to be a social phenomena resulting from the fact that the male half of the draka population have free run of the serf females, and therefore don't have to try hard to get in the citizen girls' pants when the serf girls are obligated to give it up. This leads to the girls going through a phase where they find their pleasures among themselves before getting involved with citizen men at a later age and settling down.

The Draka aren't bisexual so much as indiscriminate: they stick it in anything.
Let's put it this way. Remember the Draka vs. Covenant thread going on in OSF? Well, if the capture of the Ascendant Justice played itself out in that scenario anything like the way it worked out in Halo the Arbiter would need a lot of Preparation H after he escaped and got back to the Covenant fleet.
PS to the Halo fans: yes, I know that's unlikely because the Draka wouldn't have Cortana and the Covvies would probably blow up the ship rather than let it be captured (if they hated Haloverse Humans just imagine what they'll think of the Snakes!).

I'd suspected it for a long time, but this is the first time I've ever stated it.Norseman wrote:Give the man a cigar! You got it in one! That is probably EXACTLY what the real truth is, that and of course boarding schools.Setzer wrote:It seems to me that Draka, men and women, would be sorta... encouraged to act bisexual, simply so they can use rape as a means of dominance.

I've been working on the Writer's Bible for most of the past year; which is why my output has been....slow. Even then, large parts of it are still WIPs as you can see.
EDIT: Lonestar, don't worry about Caribbean Beat, it'll be added up eventually, I got a lot of material to collate here.
