Encounter at Onderon
Part 1
Q sat in his living room and stared at the wall. Of course, being the omnipotent being that he was, he wasn’t actually sitting, and he wasn’t actually in a living room, that is just how it would appear to any lower being that somehow entered the continuum. Still, for not existing, the couch was pretty damn comfortable.
And if any lower being had somehow appeared in this room, they would have instantly figured out that the wall wasn’t right, as it was glowing. Swirls of light traversed it in seconds, illuminating the “living room” with a multitude of different colors. This was a view into the continuum proper, and through it, you could the future, the past, old realities long gone…
Q smiled and thought of some of those old realities. Inevitably his thoughts touched on one of the more prominent realities, and his smile broadened. Going there wouldn’t be a problem, time was no problem for the Q, and Q hadn’t had any fun since he sent Jean-Luc through that anti-time puzzle. Q stood up and walked through the wall and was instantly transported a long time ago, to a galaxy far far away.

Darth Vader brought his lightsaber up as the training droid sliced at his torso, using the droid’s momentum to drive it’s lightsaber over to the side, leaving it open for a quick stab which Vader quickly delivered. As the droid fell to the ground, Vader heard the sound of clapping coming from behind him.
“I thought I made it clear that I was not to be disturbed.” Vader growled.
“You did, just not when I was around.”
Vader turned slowly towards the visitor. He was about average height, with short brown hair. Vader was somewhat surprised to see that he was wearing the white uniform of a Grand Admiral. Despite this, Vader did not recognize him. The visitor started walking toward him.
“See, that’s the thing about being omnipotent, I know a lot of things."
“Really.” Vader started to feel slightly curious despite himself.
“Yup. I know who you really are under that armor. I know how Sidious played you like a fiddle. And, of course, I know what you did to Pad-"
Instinctively, Vader reached out with the Force to choke the visitor, but despite this he kept talking.
“Now, now, Ani. You’re not going to make any friends that way.”
Vader released his hold. “That name no longer has any meaning for me,” he said.
“Sure it doesn’t Ani. But anyway, I have a proposition for you. See, I know that you’re going to Onderon, going on a Rebel Hunt, so here it is. I want you to pick something up for me."
“You seem well able to pick it up yourself.”
“I could, but where’s the fun in that. Besides, you haven’t heard what I’ll give you for it. If you do this for me I’ll give you immortality.”
Vader stared silently at him.
“Oh, don’t look at me like that, Ani, I know that’s why you turned to the Dark Side like a whiny bitch in the first place. So, we got a deal”
Vader thought for a second, sighing and thinking of how much he really wanted to kill this visitor. “Agreed.”
“Good.” The visitor turned to leave.
“You haven’t told me your name.”
The visitor stopped. “Oh, right, you can call me Q.”
With that he disappeared in a flash of white light.
