Hello, I'm going to try to use this forum to hone my writing skills, hopefully with something not too many people have thought about before. We start with a focus point in this room. Which happens to be the blue light hovering over this television, looking me in the.. eye as it were. I'll even give you a little sample writing.
I caught the faint blue glint of metal in the distance, a distinct shade that could only be produced by cobalt impregnated steel. Sort of a rare touch, shades of blue usually only mixed into asphalt, at aerial distances. Fitting that one should find it in the hand of a street mugger. Stupid, stupid little street mugger. I started walking slowly down to where he was... careful to tap my umbrella against the ground hard, so that he could hear it echoing against the wall to his right. His victim took this moment to make an escape, I barely caught a glimpse of her shoes. In a quick moment I grabbed it with my left... choked with my right, and slammed the point into his jaw right above the socket.
Quickly I saw his body fall over into a heap on the ground, his jaw slowly coalescing in a pool of blood. In about five seconds I saw him pop it back into place.. wipe his face off... and it was as if I had never even wounded him. I think i had a moment of panic as he just crawled to his feet and let forth a rusty grate of a laugh. I waited for him to pull something stupid, my opportunity was quickly availed, he charged directly at me when I slammed the diamond-plate door at his face, breaking his nose in two places... hopefully impaling his central nervous system.
I wasn't counting on that however. Quickly I grabbed the knife from his hand. I saw his body slowly oozing back together, parts squeezing into place with a small cloud of steam. His left hand was blindly reaching for a bottle of water he had in his jacket just for this purpose. Seeing my opportunity I shoved the knife deep into his left shoulder blade. Quickly I saw his body turn into a burning wreck.. quickly fire beggining to spread from the wounds I had inflicted. Meanwhile.. littered across the sidewalk were little blue splinters... all the same color as the knife I now took from his body.
