Spacewolf vs Star Trek

I'm thinking of writing a Spacewolf vs Star Trek Fan fic.

I am only going to do this to test my fleet engagement writing skills.

Is this a good idea or should i just write a future Spacewolf Fleet Battle as simply a spoiler?

I don;t see why not. Afterall it has the virtue of being a new Versus instead of the tried and true Trek v. Wars. I say give it whirl and see how it goes, at the very least you'll have fun writing it and when authors have fun writing a story it usually shows in the end product.

I have seen more of my fair share of Star Trek verses disscussions and it has become nearly the statis quo to beat or otherwise mix it up with Trek stuff.

Show us the value of a well written original fleet engagment battle with your ships in your world and leave the Star Trek universe out of spoiling your very well developing original story with their presence in it.

so you are saying that it is a bad idea? So you want me to simply feature the Battle of Orthropataria or the Battle of Diamond Stars?

You see I'm not sure I want to give away so soon the punchlines of some of the best planned chapters for the future of the story.

You see with a verses story I can write a good fleet battle scene that won't give cool parts of the story away!

No don't reveal the best battle you are planning for the story. If you are going to use Trek be it in a original setting and in an original way than the im better episodes I have observed in other verses tales.
Write a fresh new battle Be original as your story is original dont spoil it with the typical Trek setting and plot lines. Be certain to have true Science Fiction in it (stuff that could really work with a helping of real science and only a little fiction thrown in to make it believable) not this half baked tecnobable we are usually fed.

Thanks, I may modify this for one of my squadron seals. I minor story note a group of Spacewolf fighters is refered to as a Pack.

it contains
1 Mega Spacewolf Command Fighter
20 Spacewolf fighters
12 Micro Spacewolf Fighters
6 Scout Spacewolf

they are in this unit divided into 6 flights
Command flight
and 5 attack/patrol elements
(a Mega Spacewolf can split into three pieces to add its fire power to up to 3 flights if needed)

Command Flight
1 Mega Spacewolf
5 Spacewolf fighters
2 Micro Spacewolf fighters
1 Scout Spacewolf

The other flights
3 Spacewolf fighters
2 Micro Spacewolf fighters
1 Scout Spacewolf
