Does anyone think this plot might have worked? Does it contradict both universes?

BTW, I have no plans to return to it.

It uses an appalling(and unneeded) reset button.

Also the Dragon's teleport ability can go any Were & any When. Teleport to any When isnt used oftened because it is difficult to accuratly biuld a mental image of what something 'was'.

The Pern colony ships have vastly different tech to Earthforce. Technologically they dont have very powerful drive systems & limited fuel(one of the presequals shows them being worried about having limited dime due to fuel consiereds when they resuce some of the colonists).

However their Medical Tech & computer tech is lightyears more advanced than any demostrated tech the EA have. A true AI, biuld by humans and stable! Hell they whipped up an entire new species based on the native Dragonets, in a few years. And this was from a bunch of technophobic people.

Also dragons can take care of them selves, they have very different mental structure to a human. Also they have significant telekinetic powers aswell, so they could proable crush the shadow ships if they really wanted too(from the latest book that is).

Also the Dragons were bio-engineered to match up with humans, and the Dragons are very protective of the Eggs.

Frackly this crossover is too forces, it would require significant reworking of your overall plan in my opinion.

Also the bit with the Vorlon nanities is just crap, really crap.

So? All they need is a sufficient oxygen supply and they can theorteically go to any place and time they have a picutre of to pick upwhatever they need.

The time travel aspect, by the way, causes more problems than it solves, as it gets used far too often, and time travel tories are always going to have cracks around the edges, especially in Skies, which I really didn't like.

You would be pleased to know that I abandoned fan fiction in 1999 in order to concentrate on "original" writing.

A series of novels set in a world in which genetically engineered dragons protect the planet, Pern from a ravenous space organism, called Thread. I'll post a little more detailed info later, gotta go to class now
