As well as myself. While my track record may not be impressive, the guild would help me out IMMENSELY.

I urge you RI to check your inbox please.

I notice that when I send him a PM it does not go anywhere.
The message is not in my "sent" box; it's in my "out" box -- as in waiting to be sent. Tried it twice.
Maybe he's not accepting PMs?

It means RI is being lazy and not checking his PM's. Also, aren't you supposed to be avoiding this forum because the franchise is afraid of lawsuits?

Have a very nice day.

Admittedly, I set RI a PM for membership months ago. At least I think I did, though my sentbox dissagrees with me.

I m not reading any of the fiction here. As you pointed out, I'm not permitted if I want to keep pitching stories to media tie-in markets.

Though you are right, to be completely circumspect I should never have even admitted I knew this forum existed...

I had a question about the Writer's Guild and was trying to PM him about the group.

I am in exactly the same position, and I'm quite positive I sent the message, sentbox or not.

I, too, sent one. It's all mysterious. Maybe my stories just didn't cut it.

It took me months for my application to be accepted, so nothing abnormal is happening in your cases as far as I can tell.

My application still hasn't been read yet despite being sent over a week and a half ago. (I'd appreciate a Yay or at worst Nay  )

Hey, Red. I've had my membership request sitting there for damned near a year now. Any idea on when you might get around to accepting it or not?

Are there any useful sites that would help me refine my writing styles? I have some of my work on my comp, but I just feel that I'm doing something wrong. Perhaps a online guide? Writing is my weak spot when it comes to English.

I have to wonder how many applications he's racked up; mine's been sitting in his inbox since December, and I can't help but notice that a lot of the people asking about it in this thread are not on the list of members. Is the Writer's Guild no longer accepting new members?

So, uh. What precisely is the situation regarding RI? Has he been inactive in this duty (but not in the rest, I note) to an extent whereby we can assume new members are no longer welcome?

So... wait four months, be active on the forum, don't be a jackass, actually contribute a few things to the fanfic board, and check the little bubble on the usergroup section on the Panel?

I can deal with that. :D
