Let's just say that he and Thrawn are linked at the hip. When Thrawn appears so shall Kahn and this marks the beginning of the end. I could come up with some cutesy biblical propehsy thing but I'm all petered out after this chapter. And as Mark S said: where the sam hill is KHAN?!?!?!

Lex check out the first Chapter titled Interludes, I believe Kahn makes his first and only appearance so far in the story then see if you can catch the Star Trek episode "Space Seed" so you can get the story on Kahn, THEN watch the movie St:2 The Wrath of Kahn to see Ricardo Moltaban in all his glory as Kahn Noonien Singh the BEST ST villain EVER. (Well, besides Gary Mitchell of course)

As always Stravo a good chapter. As has been said, Don't you dare hook up Kelly and Wesley, though I doubt you would.
And if I do not see the words Thrawn, Kahn, Death Star, and 'Kirk watched as his ships were destroyed while Thrawn was smirking' in the next chapter I am gonna be upset.

Nice to know someone else feels the same way.
Oh, Stravo, are you using me as a Forcie?
Not really, I don't want to flood the story with force users. I want to capture the spirit of the OT where the only real force users are Luke and his dear old Dad. If I start having every other ensign display force abilties it cheapens everything. You're the hot grease monkey with a heart of gold.
Do you guys really think Kelly would go for Wesley, particularly after he begins his descent into his new identity: Darth Whiner?
Think of it as a pity fuck if anything.

Could someone help me with Stravo's fanfic please? Who is Wesley Crusher and this Charlie person? I don't know them or their history. Are they like Q? Are they immortal? Are they morons?

Not sure who Charlie is. Crusher was the Jar Jar of TNG. The annoying moron son of E-D's doctor.Crown wrote:Could someone help me with Stravo's fanfic please? Who is Wesley Crusher and this Charlie person? I don't know them or their history. Are they like Q? Are they immortal? Are they morons?

Charlie Evans is the "villain" in TOS episode Charlie X, not a great episode but better than most TNG episodes besides I have a thing about using obscure characters and giving them a little more prominence. Charlie was given powerful Q like psychic powers by the Thasians to survive in a harsh world where they lived. He was the last survivor of a crashed explorer ship. Charlie was essentially raised by aliens who had no idea what being human was like so his manners are odd because of it. If you ever see the episode watch for the very end when the Thasians take him away, listen to that plaintive cry "Why?" as he disappears into obliovion...one of the more chilling moments of TOS and something TNG and the bastard stepchildren could never imitate.
Wesley Crusher is most likely the most despised character in TNG continuity. I hated him too but BECAUSE I think the writers couldn't make him fit into their two dimensional viewpoint. He could have deoth and meaning, he is essentially a child prodigy who has lost his way and I find that fascinating because there are some parallels in my life. I am deeply honored that the ravening hordes of warsies AND Trekkies have not risen up as one and formed an Unruly MobTM in resposnse to his appearance in this fic. I promised everyone that he would not be handled as he was in TNG and so far I think that their trust has been rewarded.
Essentially Wesley is the son of Dr. Beverly Crusher and supposidly Roddenberry's avatar in the TNG series. He was a child prodigy, a genius in engineering and general science who was never handled well in the series. He eventually left with the Traveler to explore the universe after it was reveled that he too had some special powers.
I hope that answered some of your questions. I wouldn't want one of my most loyal readers getting lost. BTW you do know who Kahn is right?
