Ideas for a very implausible Scenario

I've been looking at both Birmingham's Axis of Time trilogy and Harry Turtledove's In the Presence of My Enemies novel for some time. So I decided to come up with my own sort of fictional setting.
2012: The United States (as in all fifty states and Puerto Rico), Canada, the People's Republic of China, Mongolia, Republic of China, and the whole Middle East (meaning the Near East aka Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and everything on the Arabian Peninsula and Persian Gulf sans Iran) is transported to a world where the Axis powers won World War II.
The Third Reich and its fascist allies in Europe have exterminated all Jews, Arabs (they are Semites too, after all), Roma, Poles, Russians, Serbs, Ukranians, etc. Italy has Northern Africa under its thumb, along with the eastern Mediterranean, and Spain and Portugal have much of Subsaharan Africa, to Central Africa, which is German. A bit further south is South Africa and Rhodesia. The Nazis control the USSR up to the middle of Siberia and Iran and India as well, and run a puppet regime in Australia. Japan rules all of Asia and Eastern Siberia. The Western hemisphere, Latin America, is being tugged around in between Tokyo, Berlin and Rome.
2025: Nuclear weaponry managed to make everyone behave themselves, at least temporarily. But war breaks out, for variety of reasons. China needs more resources and they don't like the Japanese Empire very much . The Israelis and Arabs are understandably very paranoid and have been on a complete war footing for the past eight years. Wouldn't take much to set things off. In North America, both parties have been trying to outhawk each other, and America is in a very heated space race with the Nazis. It doesn't help matter that the American sponsored pope in Chicago and his counterpart in Rome are screaming "antichrist" at each other. And there's the matter of differences in ideology. All sides view the coming conflict as a struggle for civilizational survival. They've also deployed comprehensive missile defenses to not completely negate, but severely lessen the intensity of a nuclear exchange.
I'm particularly in a bit of a rut trying to decide what Nazi German, Imperial Japanese and Italian Fascist arsenals would look like in 2020 with such a situation. I'm also trying to imagine what America, Chinese and Mideastern militaries would have in a time like this and would gladly appreciate any input, which will naturely be accredited.
All suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
(I'll post up some tentative Orders of Battle when I have the chance)
