Writing facial expressions

I have found that I lack a certain something when it comes to describing facial expressions, or just plain body language in general. In fact, as I examine my writings more closes, I find that in that way, they're quite bland.

What I'm looking for here is some good reference, if it exists, in order to better develop this aspect of my writing. It might help others as well, which would be tops.
