As can be seen by my most recent posts and threads, I like empire.

Now, one of the most powerful versions of an empire is the one presented in the Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov. This series is one of the better examples of sci-fi, and despite its oldness it is also a very good over and over again read.

Well, as long as your talking about everything but Foundation and Earth, Foundation's Edge, and the three sequels by Benford, Bear and Brin.

My question to you guys is what sorts of things do you love about the universe, would change about the universe, and add to the universe.

That and do you any of you know if there are fanfics or expansions to the universe written by fans (I already know all those officially published).

Some ideas I have. First of all, remove the concept of Gaia and their existence being a good thing. I dislike that.

Also, while the robots should exist they should not be the masterminds behind all galactic existence.

We would also have to update general technology levels while at the same time allowing for the point of the story to remain.

Also, there is a difference between Psychologists and Psychohistorians. The ability to understand how a person things is very far from what psychohistory is, considering that its a highly advanced math.

This probably would be better-suited for OSF.

I don't know, I mean if that is so then it should be moved.

The reason that I posted it here so that others could provide ideas and thoughts on various aspects of the setting, things they might have wanted to change or modify. You know, work on it as some sort of project.

If that is Other Sci-Fi, then that is fine. No problem.
