I've had this writing project that I haven't really so much as touched for over a year, but of all the things I've done, it's definately my biggest work, and it's the one I'm most proud of.
It's an unfinished 'novelization' of my group's 4th edition shadowrun game, that's only so far run an unfortunate 3 sessions, but it gave me a lot to work with, and created two of my favorite characters to date in my RP history.
However, it's at like.. 80 some pages, and divided into three sections and sub chapters for those sections, so instead of using Forum posts, I'm going to link to my POS website where I have everything hosted. Please, please forgive the horrible, horrible site design; I made it entirely with Yahoo Page Builder, because I didn't need much, just needed something.
WARNING: Lots of gore and swearing and drugs and occasional illegal/illicit sex, set in dystopian cyberpunk Bakersfield, California (Originally, it was going to be set in San Diego, but looking at the world map in the book later, we learned it appeared to be underwater... So, bakersfield!)
Garage Del Mookie
The sections are in chronological order. As for self critique... It's my opinion that my writing starts out weak, and slowly improves as I go. The end of what I have is, in my opinion, vastly superior to the beginning, in terms of characterization and writing.
Also, for Shadowrun enthusiasts, please don't expect an entirely accurate depiction of the Shadowrun world. My group is still fairly inexperienced, and I've yet to bodily hurl myself into the fluff as much as I really, really should have.
Enjoy!
EDIT: Also, I've never really had it proofread. I just realized my main character's revolver supposedly weighs 4 kilos.

Drooling Iguana: No, John. You are the liberals.
Phantasee: So extortion is cooler and it promotes job creation!
Ford Prefect: Maybe there can be a twist ending where Vlad shows up for the one on one duel, only to discover that Sun Tzu ignored it and burnt all his crops.

Huh. Turns out, there was a chapter missing. I've updated the links up there, and inserted Chapter 3 of "And On My Days Off..." into the appropriate place. It's a .doc file, because I can't effectively convert it to HTML on my laptop right now.
