To keep the history of Cybertron she created straight (which Perceptor expounds at length at times, as he is prone to do), she created the following timeline, which I find truly impressive:

There is much debate among Cybertron's top scientists as to how the All-Spark came to be on Cybertron some 25 million years ago. The theories of former Grammans Wheeljack and Perceptor shall be expounded upon in later entries. The following is a concrete history as pertaining to the events in the Tricolora series, using the timeline of the planet Earth's Gregorian calendar.

It should be noted that Cybertron orbits a neutron star, and almost all energy needs on the planet are met by the intense radioactivity used by the planet's star, Scintillax. No organic or siliconic being has ever set foot on Cybertron, due to the intense radioactivity.

CA 25,000,000 BCE- Allspark arrives on Cybertron

CA 23,500,000 BCE- Signs of life derived from elements in Cybertronian rocks begin to appear. First appearance of Aggregate Robotic Organisms. ("Aggrebots")

CA 7,412,200 BCE- Self-awareness and consciousness begin to develop.

CA 6,312,300 BCE- Development and understanding of abstract concepts and written language.

CA 5,532,300 BCE- Development of audio communication, networks begin to degrade into autonomous lifeforms. Appearance of Autonomous Robotic Organisms ("Autobots").

5,321,432 BCE- Leadership Matrix extracted from Allspark. Primus becomes first prime.

3,124,213 BCE- Iacon City is founded.

942,283 BCE- Natural expiration of Primus. Quantus Prime assumes Matrix.

567,321 BCE- Creation of Alpha Trion.

512,851 BCE- Population exceeds 30,000. A large population with diverse specialized interests causes Quantus Prime to instigate the Gerousia, similar to Earth senates, to act as advisers to the Prime and share a portion of leadership responsibilities. Gerousia members are chosen by existing Gerousia members and the Prime, Quantus Prime selecting all of the first members. The three original Gerousia, the Grammatron (scientists), Nomotron (legislation), and Mesotron (resources and population) each contain six members.

473,375 BCE- Flight technology developed.

462,325 BCE- First development of transformation technology. Allspark’s energy output modified to acclimate transformation. Having one or two alternate modes becomes standard for all Autobots.

368,432 BCE- First probes to other star systems sent.

367,325 BCE- Population exceeds 65,000. Gerousia membership increases from six members to twelve. Position of Arxin instigated for each to act as leader. Alpha Trion assumes Arxin title of Grammatron.

356,324 BCE- First Cybertonians make journey to adjacent star systems.

326,320 BCE- Development of faster-than-light travel. Cybertronians begin routine exploration of nearby star systems.

304,312 BCE- Discovery of organic life. Grammatron members instigate protocol for handling of organic species.

234,214 BCE- First contact with sentient organics. Quantus Prime instigates a directive for contact with all species according to their level of sentience.

231,452 BCE- The planet Dis, 12 light years from Cybertron, is colonized, completely devoted to scientific study. All Grammatron-run study of organic species is carried out on Dis.

192,943 BCE- Creation of Orion Pax.

165,321 BCE- First contact with the organic Quintessons. Trade and contact agreements are made.

150,321 BCE- Population exceeds 80,000. Creation of Ratchet.

134,393 BCE- Creation of Kathor. Kathor works with Orion Pax in the communications department under the Mesotron. The two bond instantly.

81,243 BCE- Creation of Skyfire.

77,301 BCE- Discovery of siliconic life, technically considered sentient.

69,312 BCE- Discovery of other sentient robotic species, the Gépesítes, which has long ago overwhelmed its own organic forbears and inhabits a planet that lacks any organic life. Cybertron forms an alliance with them. The Quintessons sever ties with Cybertron.

51,241 BCE- Creation of Perceptor. Perceptor and Idioma bond at the behest of Alpha Trion.

50,214 BCE- Orion Pax assumes title of Arxin in the Nomotron. Population exceeds 60,000.

49,321 BCE- Alpha Trion steps down as Arxin of the Grammatron. Idioma replaces him as Arxin.

49,297 BCE- Creation of Prowl.

48,213 BCE- Perceptor assumes position in Grammatron.

45,549 BCE- Study begins on the creation of Cybertronian brains based on the lateral modes of thinking seen in organics in the hopes of expediting technological advancement.

45,342 BCE- Creation of Wheeljack.

45,200 BCE- Quintessons attack Cybertron as a preemptive measure against the alliance between Cybertron and the Gépese. The Cybertronians, having no standing army, are defenseless. Thousands are killed, including Quantus Prime. Bellicus Prime assumes the Matrix.

45,224 BCE- Creation of the Polemors- Cybertronians created for the express purpose of war. Creation of Ironhide. Bellicus Prime sends the first fleet of Polemors against the Quintessons, destroying an entire fleet of hundreds of ships and thousands of Quintessons as a warning. The Quintessons retreat.

45,214 BCE- Formation of fourth Gerousia- Amyntron (defense). Kathor assumes position of Arxin.

34,321 BCE- Creation of Jazz. Soundwave assumes position in the Mesotron.

33,296 BCE- Creation of Predacons, small but elite sect of of Polemor built with the purpose of psychological warfare against organics. Their primary alt mode is designed to be the most feared organic carnivorous predator on whichever planet they are fighting on at the moment.

31,312 BCE- Creation of Bumblebee.

23,321 BCE- Polemor rank increase with another threat from Quintessons. There is now roughly one Polemor for every thirty civilians.

23,059 BCE- Perceptor drafts Prowl as his personal guardian.

23,142 BCE- Bellicus Prime overrules Quantus Prime's directives regarding the handling of sentient organic species. Experimentation on and disposal of sentient organics is now common practice among the Grammatron and other scientists.

21,432 BCE- Wheeljack assumes position in Grammatron.

18,902 BCE- Creation of Bluestreak. Bluestreak is drafted into a cohort of body maintenance and hygiene workers.

18,939 BCE- Anti-organic sentiment is at its zenith. Bellicus Prime, with the support of Kathor and the Amyntron, but without the support of the other three Gerousia, enacts a campaign to disarm the Quintessons completely. Quintessa is almost completely decimated in battle, and Bellicus Prime is killed. Kathor, badly damaged, is rebuilt into Megatron.

18,938 BCE- Idioma, Megatron, Cassiopeia and Orion Pax, as Arxins, are candidates for Prime. The Matrix rejects all but Orion Pax, who is rebuilt into Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime enacts measures to quell anti-organic sentiments. Prowl reassigned to another guardianship.

18,928 BCE- Optimus Prime reinstates Quantus Prime's directives and bans any capture or experimenting on sentient organics. Predacons are sent into semi-permanent retirement.

14,569 BCE- Creation of Beachcomber.

14,203 BCE- Perceptor accepts Beachcomber as his apprentice. Population once again exceeds 100,000.

13,407 BCE- Skyfire and Idioma are captured by a xenophobic organic species while on an exploration mission. Skyfire is tortured and killed in front of Idioma. Megatron decimates a large population of the species and rescues Idioma. He later secretly sends the Predacons, still under his jurisdiction, to cleanse the planet of all organic life.

13,403 BCE- Discovery of another sentient robotic species- the Keisats. Their organic creators, the Nijis, have been decimated by the Keisats. Megatron wishes to form an alliance with the Keisats, but Optimus Prime refuses on the basis of cruel way they treat the organic population. Optimus Prime extends amnesty to some Nijis. Megatron, furious, creates an alliance and a bond with Soundwave. The two soon form an alliance with Idioma, intent on removing the institution of Prime completely, as neither Idioma nor Megatron can ever advance to it.

13,204 BCE- Idioma sends Beachcomber into exile.

12,470 BCE- Soundwave begins creating illegal clones of himself.

12,469 BCE- Alpha Trion, fearing the oncoming war, flees Cybertron.

12,465 BCE- Idioma disappears, returning days later rebuilt as Starscream. Wheeljack leaves Dis to protect himself and in support of Optimus Prime. Megatron, with the support of the Polemors, decimates all Gerousia members except Perceptor, at the behest of Starscream.

12,464 BCE- Megatron issues ultimatum to all of Cybertron, that they join him and accept him as leader or be destroyed. Most Cybertronians refuse, and thousands are decimated within days. The surviving Cybertonians begin to call the Polemors and all who associate with them “Decepticons” for their betrayal, and refer to themselves as the only true Autonomous Robotic Organisms (Autobots), given the blind, primitive hive mentality showed by the Decepticons. A small number of Polemors, Ironhide included, come out in support of Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime hides the AllSpark on Cybertron.

12,324 BCE- The war has decimated the population to less than 10,000. All of Bluestreak's cohort has been killed, and because of his innate attention to detail he is rebuilt as a sniper. All surviving Autobots have been refitted with armor and weapons. A few neutrals have fled the planet completely.

12,203 BCE- Optimus Prime sends the AllSpark into space with two of his most trusted lieutenants. The Autobots, desperate to get the AllSpark away from Megatron, flee into a worm hole, which crushes the Autobots instantly. Megatron is able to pull away from the gravitational force, calculates the whereabouts of the wormhole’s output, and heads to those coordinates.

12,202 BCE- Predacons are placed at the head of the Decepticon fleet, and are sent in to terrorize and decimate the organic population if the intent is to destroy on an individual planet rather than disguise on it, as was the case later on Earth.

10,213 BCE- The AllSpark lands on Earth.

9,142 BCE- Wheeljack creates Enerstam, which becomes one of the Autobots' most deadly weapons.

6,124 BCE- Megatron lands on earth and is encased in ice. The Decepticons, no longer receiving audio signals from their leader, place Starscream as their erstwhile chief.

6,101 BCE- Wheeljack wipes out an entire Decepticon fleet singlehandedly. The Decepticons redub him Thanatok.

5,423 BCE- Ship carrying Autobot prisoner Perceptor, the Bane, destroyed by Autobot vessel, the Ark. Perceptor goes into stasis.

2,176 BCE- Population has fallen below 1,500. Perceptor lands on an asteroid and using parts from the Bane, begins to build a rudimentary interstellar transport and a communication device.

1,452 BCE- Beachcomber secludes himself on an organic planet with no intelligent life on the far-end of the galaxy. Unfortunately that far end isn't relatively far from Earth.

CA 0, AD Wheeljack has been directly responsible for the deaths of nearly 1,000 individuals. After his crew is killed, he flees the war entirely and crash lands on a small planet that orbits a red dwarf and goes into stasis.

50 AD- Wheeljack comes out of stasis and makes contact with "Weena", a female sentient organic of a species he would later call Bilums, a pre-industrial species.

200 AD- over 124,400 star systems have been searched for the Allspark. Population is scattered, and largely beyond the point of contact, and is therefore unknown, but assumed to be less than 1,000.

348 AD- Wheeljack has provided the Bilum planet with interplanetary communications and several modes of defense against his own planet. Fearing others of his own kind searching for him, he leaves the planet.

500 AD- Disappearance of Predacons.

510 AD- Wheeljack returns to the Bilum planet to find it has been completely destroyed. He finally goes completely fucking insane, abandons the Autobot cause, and spends most of his time in stasis.

1898 AD- Archibald Witwicky finds the giant plot device and has a new plot device inscribed on his glasses. Plot device presence on Earth is at an all-time high.


1935 AD- Formation of Sector 7.

Feb 28, 1957- Birth of Reginald Simmons.

1968 AD- Nicolas Simmons becomes a head agent of Sector 7 and moves his family to Nevada.

April 24, 1968 AD- Birth of Ceres Cato.

1989 AD- Ceres Cato gets pregnant while a student at Cornell and marries the child's father, Edgar Beinke, who is a PhD student there. Miles Beinke is born on December 9th. Ceres leaves Cornell when Edgar graduates.

February 17, 1990 AD- Birth of Peter Seaman.

April 6, 1990 AD- After years of unsuccessful attempts at conception, Judy and Run Witwicky finally succeed in adopting a baby boy and rename him Samuel James Witwicky. Young Samuel never knows about his unfortunate original name.

May 6, 1990 AD- Birth of Mikaela Banes.

November 13, 1993 AD- Starscream and his troops set course for Earth. Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" is number one on the Hot 100. Coincidence?

1997 AD- Mikaela's father is incarcerated for the first time, serving a 6 month sentence.

2001 AD- Edgar Beinke is abducted by Scientologists. Ceres, astonished and disgraced, goes back to her maiden name, taking her three children's surnames with her.

2001 AD- A Mars rover that was apparently sent by... uh... NASA... and not Europe... disappears! Clearly alien robots are behind this.

2002 AD- Catos move to coastal California.

March 5, 2003 AD- Bumblebee arrives on Earth. Sector 7 is immediately on his tail. "Benny Hill" theme plays during chase scenes for the next four odd years.

2005 AD- Starscream and his Decepticons arrive on Earth. Catos move back to Tranquility. Mikaela's father incarcerated a second time, this time for a five year sentence with option for parole after two.

2007 AD- Megatron awakes. Allspark found, then promptly destroyed by Samuel James Witwicky, killing Megatron in the process. Jazz gets iced. Autobots make home on planet Earth. Perceptor comes out of stasis and uses all of the power in his interstellar transport to get to Earth. Wheeljack arrives soon afterward.

2009 AD- Beachcomber receives transmissions from his former mentor, Perceptor, relaying a message from a seven-year-old organic child.

2011 AD- The Predacons intercept this same transmission, and now aware of the presence of Perceptor on the planet Earth, make course for it...
