I'm in the process of writing a couple of fanfics in the SW universe, but I don't have much of a knowledge of in-universe profanity beyond say, 'Kriffing' or 'Sithspawned.' I was wondering if you wonderful people could give me some help in that area. (Original profanity also accepted if imaginative enough)

"Scruffy looking nerf herder", also from ESB. Not sure if that counts as profanity, though.

There was a thread on this topic a while ago. Just don't use "the emperor's black bones" or anything else like that.

Blast, crud, etc would probably work fine.

References to the anatomy of certain disgusting non-sentient species works, also comparing an individual to a Hutt.

Examples:

"You're as foul as a dianoga's slimy ballsack."

"Thicker than the slime up a sweaty Hutt's ass"

<insert denomination> scum!

"Let's go get bantha poodoo-faced!"

'Stang!' is one that turns up from time to time, roughly equivalent to 'shit' I think.

I believe Sebulba says "Poodoo!" in a context that implies he meant "Shit!"

Leia has a rather, intense, personal dislike for Nerf + Nerf Herders, so that's not profanity per say.

Apparantly, young leia was spit on by a Nerf when she was little.

What are nerfs and why do they herd them?

Think a cross between Bantha and Cows/Buffalo, with a little camel tossed in.

They moo alot, and spit.

'Stang' is an alderaanian swear-word, used as an analogue for 'hell'.

Wookiee has a list of expletives, insults and slang that you might find useful. As always when they are concerned, I would recommend sticking with the sourced paragraphs to avoid fanon, and read those critically as well.
