Which Fic should I write?
I'm going to write a fic, but I've got several buzzing around in my head. Choose one, please.
1. SW only-
Set Post-Endor
Alternate history. Palpatine managed to abort the Outbound Flight project before it happened. Thrawn was never contacted by the Empire. He is a major player, though. Uses established characters.
2. SW vs ST-
My most mature Fic. 25 years after ANH (No Vong in this 'verse) A faction of the Remnant breaks away and sets out to colonise a new galaxy- The ST galaxy! *cue dramatic music*. The NR makes an appearance, too.
3. Origional universe-
My own universe. The Solar System has been colonised, but when Earth implodes into a World War, the colonies have to fend for themselves.

Oop, forgot that.God Emperor wrote:I vote origional, what is the tec. leval in your universe?
STL: Fusion/Antimatter drive
FTL: Wormhole generators at Langrange points
Weapons: Caseless with electronic firing pin
Misc: See Howstuffworks How Stuff WILL Work section
Think hard science. Rotate to generate gravity ETC (look up my other thread for info on my Rift Drive 'soft science' tech).
Howzat?

You could kinda mix your first two. Heres an idea. go with your second idea, but rather than NJO era Imperial Remant, use Thrawn's Empire from the Zahn Trilogy. Say Thrawn needs more resources in order to effectively combat the new Republic and that he discovered the ST galaxy thourgh some sort of corridor in the Outer Rim where he was working.

-Dr Roberts, with quite possibly the dumbest thing ever said in 10 years of SDNet.

Thanks, but I've developed it FAR to far to suddenly jump back 14 years.Darth Fanboy wrote:You could kinda mix your first two. Your original universe. You've invested time and brain into it, so reap the fruits of your work! The other ones abound, an original is still an original, and we always like to hear new ideias (and probably shamelessly rip them off! No, I won't do it...)
