Big Finish is opening up to receive proposals for a 25 minute audio episode. If they like it and want to send it to production, they'll offer a contract and get the story dramatized. This PDF has all the information but the rundown is to have a story about the 5th Doctor, Nyssa, and three original characters of your own making (no known characters) and your own setting, time, and style without referencing anything known; it is to be completely original.

They want an outline of 500 words and two pages of a sample script and the deadline is February first.

I am no writer but I know there are Who fans here who do so I thought I'd share.

Sounds good for those interested, although most big finish productions aren't 25 minutes and I wonder how you are going to tell a Doctor Who story in 25 minutes. The only DW idea I have in my head which would fit in that time frame is a crossover which parodies the Avatar bashing fics which have appeared on line and that obviously violates copyright.

Actually since Nicholas Briggs took over as executive producer, he has enforced the 25-minute rule.

They have done stories that are three episodes long and one standalone but I don't know how good they are.
