Fanfic From Alternate History Discussion Board

Post by General Mung Beans »

Alternate History Discussion Board is a pretty good board for sci-fi fan fiction though unfotunately I've been banned from it. :(

Fox of the Outer Rim-Rommel and other World War II figures end up in the Star Wars universe during the Clone Wars. www.alternatehistory.com/Discussion/sho ... ht=Thrawn

Anakin Sides With Jedi Over Palpatine-Just like the title says. Not to be missed for the epic battle at its end. http://www.alternatehistory.com/Discuss ... ght=Thrawn

Thrawn at Endor-Grand Admiral Thrawn leads the Imperial fleet at Endor. http://www.alternatehistory.com/Discuss ... ght=Thrawn

I'll be digging for more so stay tuned!
El Moose Monstero: That would be the winning song at Eurovision. I still say the Moldovans were more fun. And that one about the Apricot Tree.
That said...it is growing on me.
Thanas: It is one of those songs that kinda get stuck in your head so if you hear it several times, you actually grow to like it.
General Zod: It's the musical version of Stockholm syndrome.

You know, given the lack of a standing military this one might actually work. Of course the technology and command equipment would probably mess them up still.

Well there was a ban against posting threads "wanking" yourself but I was a bit fuzzy about the rule and got banned for posting a thread.

This is going to be a problem. The "area of operations" is a million whole planets, roughly; individual commanders are going to have real difficulty when they're used to worrying about a theater of battle no more than a few hundred kilometers on a side. But it is at least somewhat interesting, especially if you try zooming in on individual planets and watching them run specific campaigns, instead of going on about How The History Of The Galaxy Changed Forever.

Which is the norm in Star Wars, unfortunately.
