Poem: Prayer for the Fallen

A little poen I wrote for Remembrance Day last year, decided to post it now as it is nearly/recently Memorial Day in the Us I think. Anyway,:
Blessed are the Soldiers
Who fought with bravery
To bring an end to war
And challenge tyranny
Guardians of the nation
Protectors of Liberty
Heroes, one and all
Remember them, say we
They saw the coming storm
That bellowed out of sight
Yet still they went to war
Fought with all their might
They never once faltered
For their cause was right:
They fought in all our names
To save us from the night
Now they lie before us
Watching from the grave
We find all our inspiration
In how they were so brave
With a strength and courage
That every man should crave
Those men rest easy knowing
We enjoy what they died to save
Comments and criticism welcome.
