Voyager and Yuuzhan Vong Writers Needed

Post by Acky12 »

Help Wanted: Two to Five writers for an unannounced project.

I am looking for, seeking for, writers for another of my insane Star Trek/NJO crossover series. This time however, things are a bit different compared to the other projects I have started before. The writers I seek must be able to write either (or both) Stark Trek: Voyager and Star Wars: The New Jedi Order time periods/characters/aliens/etc.

Details of the project are not available for release at this point both because advance details have not been decided and I do not wish to release ANY details at this point. A long-term commitment to “The Crossing” (title subject to change) can be expected, with a good six months of pre-planning and another three to six months of pre-writing before release.

The only details of the story that I can confirm at this point is that “The Crossing” will pick up just before Star Trek: Voyager’s finale: Endgame. In our realm, Endgame will not have existed. The premier of “The Crossing” will actually be a new ending for Voyager, as well as new beginnings. Following the release of the new ending will be a feature-length story of a movie length story tentatively entitled “Time Lapse.” After the release of “Time Lapse,” the TV-style “The Crossing” will kick off, with an expected seven seasons (following suit with Star Trek), all of which to be full length seasons. Voyager’s finale, “Time Lapse,” and “The Crossing” premier episode will all be written by myself, with the team of writers picking up to alternate episodes much like writers do on a television series.

For those interested, it is requested that you e-mail thecrossing@njoe.com with a small audition piece showing me your writing ability. If you have any other questions you may also feel free to e-mail thecrossing@njoe.com.

Co-writers are allowed, so if you don’t have knowledge of one area but you do of the other that’s perfectly OK.

Thank you.

Jeff Driscoll
“The Crossing” Producer.
