As per Kelly's request, here an SD chapter
SD Chapter 1a, the Country
While the Kotengu Ambassador leaves King Rami Pashan’s chamber, a Kotengu spy also leaves and returns to Kuzunoha. The spy briefs Verrill Joshuya (Leader of the Nightmare Soldiers) after receiving the ambassador’s report. He and the First Officer, Amanda Lee Kuzunoha, went to brief Amanda’s grandfather Shogun Tenchi Kuzunoha, the Leader of the Kotengu.
“Really, so he doesn’t believe us.” The Shogun says laughing, “That fool Pashan, he still pissed that we pushed them out of the Delta and out of the sections of the Barrier Mountains.”
“Grandpa, don’t get overconfident.” Amanda says firmly, “They have taken a great deal of land from us before and the way they have moved their forces they are threatening our forces.”
“This is true.” He replies, “However, I do agree to his request for a summit in Kitsune territory.”
“Shogun, are you sure that’s wise?” Verrill asks, “They are still threatening our forces in the Delta.”
“Go ahead and withdraw the units south of the Delta back to the main patrol line.” Shogun says calmly while feeding the carp, “Move a naval battlegroup into that area, also prepare the Nightmare Soldiers for deployment.”
“What about the conference?” Verrill asks.
“The leader of the Kotengu will be there.” Shogun replies, “The future leader that is, Amanda will go in my place.”
“Why me grandpa?” she asks looking puzzled.
“You must learn about how to deal with other leaders of the other countries, Amanda.” The Shogun looks at his granddaughter, “You are next inline to be Shogun. That’s an order, little girl.”
“Yes sir, grandpa.” Amanda replies.
Later on that morning in the garden, Tenchi is practicing his swordsmanship skills while talking to the Onmyou Mystic Douman Oni. The Mystic has seen something very disturbing in his Divination Readings.
“You do all that telling the future shit, and your asking me what does this latest vision means.” The Shogun says straining with a heavy training sword, “Do I look psychic.”
“Well, it has to do with that naval ship that was attacked.” Douman responds, “How it was attacked out the blue for no reason.”
“Yeah, well I still say the Crux attacked the ship.” Shogun replies, “They are our current enemy.”
“No, I don’t think they did it at all.” Duoman explains, “Be mindful of others.”
“What, the Greetai? I doubt that, they are way too honorable for that.” Shogun says while continuing to strain with the training sword. “Plus they’re been our allies and trading partners for 500 years.”
“I agree.” Duoman continues, “This is something that I would advise you to look into.”
“Alright, I will.” Shogun replied falling down gasping for air, “I think I over did a bit.”
The young healer and shrine maiden Meilin Raye Karasuyama walks in, “Shogun, what have I told you about overexerting yourself.” She bends down to help the Shogun.
“Yeah, yeah. You tell me that all the time.” Shogun replies staring at Meilin’s large breasts, “Wow, they’re incredible.”
“What’s incredible, Shogun?” Meilin asks.
“You are. All of the healing abilities and skills you posses.” Shogun starts, “Your parents were great healers as well.”
“I don’t really remember them; they died after Tai was born.” Meilin replies looking a little sad.
“Don’t be sad Meilin; they would be proud how great a person you have become.” The Shogun says with a cheerful grind. Besides, you’ve learned from the greatest healers and mystics in the country. You’re your skills and abilities are unmatched on Gaia.”
“Thank you, Shogun.” Meilin says, “But that still not gonna make me change my mind about how you exercise.”
The Shogun grabs Meilin breasts, making her gasp in shock. “You know, your body even more impressive than your skills, can you give me some special healing.”
“SHOGUN, PLEASE!” Meilin screams slapping his hands away, “I’m not like that.”
“Old Man, filthy as dirt.” Duoman says.
“What was that?” Shogun asks angrily. “Did you say something?”
“Nothing!” Duoman replies nervously, he pauses. “I will take my leave now, thank you for your time Shogun.”
Else where, Verrill was advising the Nightmare Soldiers on their next set of missions. He is going on over plans with two of his mission leaders Kaori (Protection Group Commander) and Kaga (Special Operations Commander).
“So is everyone straight about the latest set of missions?” Verrill asks, “Remember there can be no mistakes. Kaori your team will accompany Princess Amanda to the summit, while Kaga will take her team out as soon as possible.”
Kaori stands, “I understand sir.” She exits on her mission.
“Sir, are you that this is the best course of action?” Kaga asks, “This is sure to start up a seriously intense war.”
“Yeah, but they‘re seriously fucking with our territory and the ancient prefectures there.” Verrill says pointing at a map, “Besides, they’ll never expect or see this coming”
“That’s true. “ Kaga replies laughing, “They’ll never expect this at all.”
“Ok. Wait a second.” Verrill beings looking around the room, “Where the new Nightmare Soldier members.”
“Oh, they had J-League events today.” Kaga explains,
“Those kids, an important set of missions are coming up and they’re off playing games.”
SD Chapter 1b, A Day In The Life Of Daisaku Kagura
The scene switches from the Kotengu Capital, Kuzunoha, to Kamura on the Island of Nippon. A young boy is running down the street towards the stadium, carrying a heavy backpack.
“Shit, I’m running late again.” He says out of breath. “Why does this always happen to me?” His name is Daisaku Kagura, the 17-year-old star of the J-Leagues.
“Morning Daisaku. Late again?” Koyo asks an out of breath Daisaku who just arrived at the stadium.
“Yeah, I overslept.” Daisaku replies breathing heavily, “I had a strenuous K-Fight last night.”
“And you turned around and are playing blitzball this morning.” Koyo says, “You’re either a super incredible athlete or just stupid.”
“I’ll bet on being stupid.” Maya says, “Like the time you competed in four J-League sports in one day.”
“What’s your point?” Daisaku asked defiantly, ”Your point is?”
“Forget it.” Maya replies, “You never listen to me anyway.”
Later on, Daisaku and the team head for the blitzball chamber. They stand at the edge of the chamber and looks across at his competition. The team from Ryukyu is the team’s opponent today.
“Their rank 1st in the J-League.” Aki says, “They can put up a lot of points.”
“Hey, don’t tell me you’re worried.” Daisaku replied, “We’re pretty good too, ya know.”
“Yeah, and we got Daisaku and Koyo.” Hitomi says, “The best forward and goalkeeper the league.”
“I agree with that.” Maya responds staring at two of the Ryukyu players, “But you can’t underestimate your opponent. Right Daisaku.”
“Yeah, Tai, Tsunami, and Meilin are no pushovers.” Daisaku replies, he begins to look around quickly. “Huh, where is Meilin anyway.”
“You always did like Meilin, didn’t you?” Koyo asks teasing Daisaku. “She likes you too, ya know.”
“Oh shut up.” Daisaku yelled at Koyo as his face begins to turn red (blushing) in embarrassment..
The officials form the water sphere for the game. As the Kamura team enters the sphere, Tai, Tsunami, and the other team members wait for Meilin to arrive from Kuzunoha.
“I wish she would hurry up and get here.” Tai screams, “What the hell is she doing?”
“Remember, your sister when to do a check up on the Shogun today.” Tsunami replies.
Meilin comes running into the stadium. “Sorry, I’m late.” Meilin says rushing to the sphere, breathing hard. “It took longer than I expected with the Shogun.”
“Well, look who shown up at last.” Tai says sarcastically, “IT’S ABOUT TIME! Did you have fun with the Shogun?”
“How dare you say that” Meilin replies angrily. “I’m not like that at all.”
“Lay off her Tai, she a very busy and important person.” Tsunami says, “She may need to heal you one day.”
“Yeah, Yeah, Whatever.” Tai replies reluctantly.
Still trying to catch her breath, Meilin looks up at Kamura team, “So, Daisaku and Koyo are in the game today.”
“Yeah, it wouldn’t be easy.” Tsunami answers.
“Enough talk, let’s play!” Tai yells.
“RIGHT!” Meilin and Tsunami reply.
After the game (in which he scored three goals), Daisaku and Koyo are walking home when a car with two girls in it pulls up along side them.
“Daisaku, you idiot. Where have you been?” Tai yells, “We’ll running late again.”
“Oh, hello there Tai. Tsunami.” Daisaku replies, “What’s up? Running late for what?”
“We have a Nightmare Soldiers meeting to attend today.” Tai replies still scorning at Daisaku, “Don’t tell me you forgot, again.”
“I know that, but do you have to shout.” Daisaku answers, “Why do you call me an idiot all the time anyway?”
“WHAT DID YOU SAY???” Tai angrily replies.
“Tai, take it easy. Calm down.” Tsunami says trying to defuse the situation.
“Calm down? He always makes us late and we get punished by Captain Joushya.” Tai explains, ”I’m getting sick of it.”
“Captain Joushya already knows that we were gonna be late today.” Tsunami says, “We all are in the J-Leagues, ya know.”
“Yeah, I was just going home to change clothes and head for the portals.” Daisaku replies, ”So calm down, ok.”
“Fine, then get in the car.” Tai ordered, “I’ll take you home.”
“God, you’re the bossiest person I know.” Daisaku says as he gets in the car. “See ya, Koyo.”
“Yeah, see ya later then.” Koyo replies as the car spins off.
SD Chapter 1c, The Summit
A distress call is received from a Kotengu merchant ship out at sea. It had just left the Kamura Seaport about an hour before. The ship’s captain says that the ship is under attack. Then suddenly the signal cuts off.
“Ok, that’s the second ship we’ve lost this month.” Verrill says, “I had a reconnaissance plane search the area and direction in which the ship was traveling. It found no trace of the ship, just a large debris field.”
“Why is this happening?” Kaga asks, “It’s very unusual for two ships to be attacked out of the blue like this.”
“Hello sir, sorry we’re late sir.” Daisaku says as he, Tai, and Tsunami walk into the meeting.
“Oh, that’s ok.” Verrill says, “I understand that you all had a blitzball game today.”
“Yeah, the game was tried 3 all after regulation and went into a shoot out.” Tsunami explained, ”Kamura won the shoot out by one goal.”
“They got lucky. I didn’t get a chance to shoot again.” Tai said definiatly, ”We should have won.”
“Can you for once not be a sore loser?” Daisaku asked in and angry tone.
“Be quiet, you don’t beat me that often anyway.” Tai answered.
“Stop that, before you two start arguing again about who’s the better athlete…” Verrill said, “We got things to discuss.”
“Yes sir.” Daisaku and Tai replied
“So what’s up?” Daisaku asked.
“Another one of our ships has been attacked, this time it was a merchant ship.” Kaga explained, “All that’s left is a large debris field.”
“And there’s still no sign of what attacked the ships?” Tai asks.
“Nothing at all.” Verrill explains, “The Shogun has deployed a battlegroup to that area to investigate. As of now, our mission to the delta has been postponed.”
A young seaman walks into the briefing room. “Sir, we just got a report, a Greetai Naval Battlegroup has been completely destroyed.”
“What, a Greetai Battlegroup you say.” Verrill replies, “That’s no small feat. Did they say how it was destroyed?”
“Yes sir, the report states that the battlegroup encountered a super large island and was completely wide out.” The seaman explains, “The Greetai believes it to be an unknown enemy from the Thran continent.”
“Humm, could it be the Elves.” Daisaku asks.
“No, there was an uprising over there recently.” Verrill says, “We don’t know what’s going on the Thran Continent right now.”
“So what is going on over there?” Daisaku asks, ”Could some new enemy have taken over?”
“I wouldn’t rule out anything.” Tai replies, ”I’ve seen a great threat arising from that place.”
“It’s that Onmyou Divination thing you and your sister do isn’t it?” Daisaku asks, “Somehow, I know to trust it when you do that. Good job.”
“Uhh… Thank you, Daisaku.” Tai replies turning away from Daisaku and blushing.
Meanwhile in the Kitsune Capital of Golden Court, Princess Amanda and her Protector Kaori arrived to attend the summit. They arrive at the Municipal House.
“Finally, we made it to to the madam.” Kaori says, “Are you ready for this Amanda?”
“Yeah, about as ready as I’ll ever be.” Amanda replies, ”Why did grandpa send me to meet this guy?“
“You will lead the Kotengu one day, the Shogun believes that you must learn to deal with other leaders of the world…” Kaori explains, “That’s why he sent you here. Look, there’s King Pashan.”
“Well now, he doesn’t exactly strike fear into your heart now does he.” Amanda says to Kaori.
“Crucians aren’t very tall but they are some little tough sons of bitches.” Kaori replies.
“What the hell is this???” King Pashan, “Your own leader can’t even show himself and on top on that sends a girl?”
‘Oh yeah, this is going to be lots of fun.’ Amanda thinks to herself, “I am Shogun Tenchi Kuzunoha’s granddaughter, Amanda.”
Feedback would be helpful.
