I've already got most of the characters to be invented for this fic created in my mind. I just need names. so:

1) First off. If anyone here doesn't want me to use their name at all please speak up now.

2) Off the top of my head i can't think of anyone who would fit the profile of a monodominant inquisitor* on these boards. If you can then please mention them. If no one matches the mono. style then i'll make up a name or use an existing mono.
*A monodominant can be easily compared to Judge Dredd ,ie. zero tolerance, you commit a crime and your dead.

3) If you really want your name to be mentioned then speak up. However I want to try and keep the names "realistic" so there wont be any Brother Marine NecronLord's or Lieutenant GAT's (although Thrawn may get in there) , so if your name is not that "realistic" then please suggest another name that you might want to be called by. If your username is something like mine and you really want it to be in, don't worry. I'll probably be mentioning some servitors (maybe archoflagellants) somewhere and they need reg. numbers.

4) 40K ship sizes. On the 40K imp vs SW imp topic in other SF there have been varying numbers for the size of 40K cap shps. Can someone please give the name and length of the most common "big" ship in the 40K imp. fleet.

If i come across any more things that i need before i start i'll post them on here.

There are three reasons why i'm not including Voyager in this fanfic

1)It seems to me that every ST Vs (Whatever) fanfic seems to include Voyager in some way and i'm getting tired of it.

2)I don't know Voyager as well as other Trek, not that i know a lot about Trek in the first place, but i think i have enough to get by. Failing that i'll just get laughed at.

3) As mentioned earlier, I have something special planned for Voyager if people like this fanfic.

Imperial Cruisers are something like 3km long. There was a passing reference in a published fiction piece that said they are 30km long, but I have been told it was an error. Imperial Escorts are in the 1km range. I beileve Battleships are in the 5km range.

Can I be a member of a Space Marine Chapter who goes out in an utter blaze of glory? Spectacular death is all I ask for. Maybe I can pull the pin on a vortex grenade as my dying action as I am overrun by the enemy... Eh?

I've chosen the Ultramarines because they are the "average" marines of the 40K universe, not having any special things like the Blood Angels or Space Wolves.

Lunar class cruisers would probably be the most common type, Gothic would be a close second; Gothics, Dictators, Tyrants, Dominators are all based on the Lunar frame, but less common. Dauntless class light cruisers would be popular, but I'm not sure how they stand in terms of % of the fleet in service.

As far as escorts, Cobra class destroyers wouldbe most common, with Firestorm and Sword class frigates also common.
