Disclaimer: this is my first work ever so needless to say I'm going to be a little rough around the edges so please bear with me:
Proulogue
A French Army camp south of Madrid, November, 20, 1810
"When do you think he'll be back?", asked soldat Antoine Chirac. "Who, the Boss?" Replied caporal Bodine with a snort, "he isn't coming back." "What do you mean Caporal?" "Think about it soldat, if you had the option of waking up in a army cot, or in a warm bed with Marie-Louise which would you choose?" said Bodine cooly. "an army cot of course." replied a Italian accented voice behind them. Both men turned around to see who the new participent to their conversation was, they came to attention without concious effort. "Good to see the army knows how to instill obediance." Napoleon said with a smile. "Emperor what are you doing here?" asked Chirac. "I'd expect that question from him" Napoleon said gesturing to Bodine, "I am here to prove to my marshal's that this "Wellington" is an amateur". " Vive l'empeuer!" Chirac & Bodine shouted together. Pleased with their loyaty Napoleon left them.
