Name help...

I'm trying to design a fictional universe, and I'd like some suggestions to rename it...
See, the stuff is a bit like Orion's Arm or the Culture, it is a sci-fi universe dominated by God-like technological beings, but here there are not only "true" AIs, but uploaded human minds as well, called Ascends or Transcends, that have merged together and developed their intelligence beyond our understanding... That's the focus of this civilization : grow up from a low-level sentient ( lambda human ), improve yourself and become God.
I've named this civilization and Universe "Avatah", but on second thought I find it a bit dull ( and it sounds like Frank Herbert's Avata in The Jesus Incident ).
Do you know of any name ( say, derived from Ancient Greek or Hebraic or Latin, or other unusual languages ) that would refer to the improvement of one's sentience, the ascension to greater levels of awareness, that kind of junk.
I've thought of : "Eskatont", "Ontos" ( from eschatos and ontos, Ancient Greek for "last" and "being" ), but frankly I find them lame
... The name must sound cool !
If you know bits of these ancient languages and are willing to share your knowledge with me, or have any suggestions, then by all means, let me know
