I just want to express my wish that old fics be resumed by their authors, i know they have lives too, but many of them are great and I'd love to find out how they end. Specificaly all stories by Marina O'Leary (Fist of the Empire especially) and Micheal January (Galaxy of War and ISD Eliminator). I hate starting to read new fics here because unless they're short there's almost no guarantee that they'll ever be finished, and frankly I find these to be far better than the SW and ST books written by 'professional' authors. How many other people feel this way? Hopefully if people respond to this topic the authors will feel moved to finish them.
If you meet these historians I'll tell you what to say
tell them that the Nazis never really went away
They're out there burning houses down and peddling racist lies.
And we'll never rest again until every Nazi dies.

I'd love to see some of Mike January's fics finished. But IIRC Mike hit some
real serious roadblocks in his life, and hasn't had much time
at all to even think about this stuff.

Well when i go back home i'll see if my old PC still has the part of the first chapter on it. I think IDMR was still OSF mod back when i started that.
