For those of you wondering when the next chapter of the porno is going to be, you're going to have a wait. I'm having problems deciding where to go from here. If anyone has any plot ideas, please shoot them to me. I can use the help and possible plotlines.

I hate writers block...I get it all the time...and...can't...write! Grrrr...must...write...can't think

Don't think about writing. Take a day or two off. When you come back, you'll probably have some good ideas and be ready to write, again.
And don't feel bad. Mark Twain, when Huckleberry Finn and Jim got to Cairo, took eight years trying to decide whether he wanted them to go up the MO River, or miss the junction and keep floating down the Mississippi River. You're in good company when you can't decide where to go.

Yeah...and constant school work doesn't help my cause either...

I'm in the middle of the worst case of writer's block I've ever had. If I so chose, I could start any one of five stories, but I'm getting nothing. *shrug* Good things come to those who wait, suppose. And Kelly, I assume this means you rejected my suggestion?

Yes.....just don't even *think* about writing -- ANYTHING. Or write something else. That always gets me into thinking about my story. Or draw. Another good thing.

No, it's still a plausible plot, but just not where I forsaw the story going. I expect a lot more chapters.

How many different paths are available to you, and how many different orders can they go in?

Some Suggestions Kelly for mild things that seem to shake most people's writers block
Do somthing unusal
Topping my top two
Spend 11PM to 1AM Outside on your front Lawn, don't get up don't go anywhere just look up and drift, note must be a QUIET Lawn and if you don't have one of those head over to Capel Hill and sooner or later you'll stumble onto a nice quiet devopment and consider there
Mall Walk
Head off to your local Mall, Hmm Crabtree, and the other two(Not University) if your in the Raligh/Durham/Chapel Hill Area as I remeber thier are four malls there, The big one(Crabtree) and the two midden sized ones, one which is two levels, one which is single level, then the Tiny one (Univesity) which I recomend for the little Italian place tucked in the corner for the damnest good pizzas ever made but not for shaking writers block(Though you never know... I don't know if the Pizza is THAT good but it sure tastes like it)
Anyway head to your Local Mall, Show up at 8:30Am or whenever is the MALL but not STORE opening time
See the things is most malls are open an hour before the Acutal Stores are, thats when you want to hit it,
Just arrive walk around, everythings closed but things go on, just walk around look and think and trust me that works, got me through three years of Highschool Paper writing plus three years of Middle School(I discovered this as during Middle School my mother sough Empoylment at the Deparment Store in the Mall who open at 8:30AM every day so every Saterday I went down with her she gave me money for lunch and I wandered around the mall while she worked)
Just some suggestions

Writer's Block is just AWFUL for someone who loves to write. The way I work through it is take some time off and don't think about writing for a while. Go out with freinds, watch movies, etc. Now after that little break I usually try to write a little something, even if it isn't really a great idea, I just write it out, sometimes, the process of putting ideas down, even crappy ideas, starts the process going.
The key is not to sweat it. You start thinking about NOT being to write and nothing is going to happen.

Get more sleep. Sometimes, problems like writer's block are really just manifestations of general fogginess, caused by sleep deprivation.

Gotta disagree there. I tend to write like mad when I'm on the verge of exhastion and leaning over the monitor. It's scary.

Ditto this...I have a lot of Chapter 2 of my fic written, and I wrote it minutes before going ot bed after a bout of sleep dep.

I get some of my best ideas while I'm trying to fall asleep, so I don't know if that counts for DW's idea (I am lying in bed), or verilon's (I'm not quite asleep, yet).

I do my best thinking when I'm aimlessly walking around, and story ideas have often come to me in this fashion.
Maybe you should try taking a walk in the park or something, Kelly.

That's funny. You seem to think aimlessly, too. (J/K)

You should see where I get my inspiration from and what it inspires...

I must agree with Iggy and verilon...some of my best ideas(and worst ideas
) come during an episode of the "4am stupids"(TM).

LOL, I think I might be looking at my fic again tonight, just to see what I can come up with.....but I doubt I'll get very far. I think we're all having kind of a dry spell right now.

Don't worry, Kelly. I am basically stuck on my story. I have no idea where I want to go next. Well...I DO...I just can't find the words.

That's the problem I've got, too.

Am I the only person here who thinks more clearly when I get enough sleep?
