The Immortal
Your name is ... whatever you choose it to be. You've used a few, in your 2500 years of life. You were born in 635 B.C. in southern Macedonia. You were always a healthy child ... while others caught fevers and chills, you seemed immune. To everything. You don't know why, but sometime around your twenty-fifth birthday, you seemed to stop ageing. If you take a wound, it seems to heal more swiftly than most, though by no means instantly.
You have wandered the world ... been a soldier, a surgeon, a Senator, an Archduke ... so many other things as time taught you the simple arithmetic of compound interest.
It is the present day. Your name is ... whatever you choose it to be. You are unquestionably the richest individual on the planet, with widely distributed cash, property, and bank accounts all over the world. But the Information Age hasn't really been so kind to you. It's getting harder and harder to hide the fact that one person controls so many assets, harder and harder to fake new identities. You suspect you are under investigation by one or more intelligence agencies.
Fill in the blanks. Who are you? Where do you live? What is your master plan, knowing how lucky you have been to avoid accidental death for this long? Would you want to be this person?
