Beneath the Surface (Gundam/Transformers Crossover)

Author's Note: Well this is a random idea that turned into an interesting little project for me upon my return from three days of binge drinking in San Diego. Inspired by the convention center, home of the San Diego Comic Con, I present to you: Beneath the Surface.
0079 UC Calendar, The surprise attacks carried out by the mobile suits of the Principality of Zeon and the subsequent reprisals by the Earth Federation have left billions dead. Although the ferocious nature of the fighting culminated in the Antarctic treaty, setting humane guidelines for the fighting, there is still no end in sight to the most brutal conflict in the history of humankind.
Despite several initial disadvantages the Principality has gained a firm upper hand in the fighting using mobile suits. Although humanity had failed to scale up mecha technology almost routinely up until that point, the Zeons were somehow able to make a technological breakthrough in the creation of the first Zaku mobile suits. Later, with the development of the Zaku II, it seemed as if there was nothing in the Federation's arsenal that could stop them. That is, until the development of Project V.
The results of Project V were given form in the RX-78 Gundam mobile suit. Not only had the Federation managed to develop a working mobile suit of their own, but they had managed to build one that far surpassed the performances of the Zakus it was assuredly going to face in combat. The only downside is that this suit was still not close enough to mass production, while Zeon was producing mobile suits en masse using captured resources from occupied territory on Earth.
The improbable happened when Zeon discovered the components of the V project in the Side 7 colony and attacked, only to be repelled by a young boy who had nothing but technical aptitude and luck on his side, the career of Amuro Ray had taken off by the time the boy had even first put on a Federation uniform. The higher ups at Zeon would not stand for this.
The Archduke of Zeon, Degwin Zabi, had only recently heard of the news and already he was beginning to get upset. He had been promised a quick end to the war and control of the entire Earth Sphere. It was time to address his concerns to those who had promised him swift victory. Beneath the metropolis that was his military headquarters, Degwin Zabi and a pair of chief guards traveled to a reinforced armored bunker, originally built to house key personnel in case of an impending nuclear attack. However, his cohorts had decided to make it their own central headquarters, in preparation of another impending battle that would make the war in the Earth Sphere look like a child's birthday party.
After navigating a maze of passageways in his limosuine, and a series of elevators, the small convoy that was Zabi's retinue had arrived. The large chamber door was adorned with the deep purple logo of those responsible for Zeon's immediate advantages. All of the technology and military planning, came from behind these doors. The logo itself was a great representation of this, as the hard angles seemed to form the face of the devil himself. A combination of demon and machine that sought to destroy all who would oppose it. The doors slowly opened and the devil's face parted to reveal the real devil inside. they were large enough to accomodate mobile suits, but there were no mobile suits. There were however giant machines...
Seated on a large throne in front of several tactical displays that Zabi could not even understand was Megatron, the architect of the One Year War. One of the most closely guarded of Zeon's secrets was the discovery of alien artificial life forms, secrets that had been witheld from all except those most trusted by the Zabi family. It was then that the unholy alliance had been forged, Megatron had promised Degwin Zabi all of the colonies and Earth, and in exchange when the war was over MEgatron would be allowed unlimited access to Earth's resources. Megatron and his Decepticon soldiers had quitetly snuck into Side 3, where they began teaching Zeon how to build operational and functional mecha based on Cybertronian concepts. Megatron had promised that the war would be over within a month, and that there was no one in this system that could oppose them. Although Megatron and his soldiers could have defeated the Federation on their own, they had chosen to remain hidden lest the people of Earth and Space combine their forces. A war would be the perfect cover to advance their agenda, Megatron had decided.
But something had gone wrong, too many people were getting killed, and Zabi was not about to let MEgatron annhilate the entire human race no matter how much reward was at stake.
"Ah, if it isn't my favorite flesh creature. How goes the process of organic decay this week hmmmm?" Megatron stood at his feet, towering over the diminutive humans. Zabi shouted, even though he knew Megatron's advanced hearing systems would allow him to detect even the slightest whisper, especially if that creep Soundwave was in the room.
"Megatron! I demand an explanation! You said that the war would be over soon, that our mobile suits would march unopposed into the streets of every Federation City and over the smodlering ashes of Jaburo!"
Megatron's playful smile turned into a scowl, if there was one thing he despised about flesh creatures it was their overinflated sense of self importance. One which could rarely be adjusted properly without reducing said creature into its component atoms.
"Megatron always delivers on a promise Degwin Zabi, what trivial concern of yours has so shaken your resolve that you would risk your very life to speak to me right now."
Zabi snapped his fingers and an aide handed him a handful of disks. "I have here in my hand evidence that the Federation has developed its own mobile suit technology. Technology that was supposed to be OURS alone! Have you been dealing behind my back Megatron or is this just an eerie coincidence?"
Megatron tuned his head towards where Soundwave was standing, who immediately deployed Rumble. Rumble walked over towards the humans and raised his hand as if to swat them, causing them all to flinch, before grabbing the disks and handing them to Soundwave. Soundwave analyzed the data and confirmed its authenticity, and then patched the data through a tactical display at Megatron's throne console. Images of the White Mobile Suit popped up on the screen, as the White Mobile suit battled the Zakus that Megatron had designed using basic Cybertronian technology, Megatron's face showed a great anger that Zabi had not seen since his arrival.
Megatron looked at the face of the Gundam, a face he had not seen for millions of years. Yet the familiarity of the face was as clear to him as it had ever been, and although he knew that this Federation mobile suit wasn't his old adversary, he knew that it was his doing. Somehow the Autobots had survived the same catastrophe the Decepticons had, and were now managing to interfere with his plans yet again. Of all the things going through his mind, of all the orders he wanted to give to his minions, there was only one word Megatron was able to say at that point.
"PRIME!"
A Transformers/Gundam Crossover! I'm no Gundam historian, purist, and im not much of a fan but i'll be damned if I don't have a few more ideas for this. I can't promise a lot of updates though. Ciao for now!
