Prologue
From the ashes of an Atomic fire the ancient nation of Humerlis was born. It is said that the history of Humerlis would fill the halls of a million libraries. While the ancient race of apes known as men was learning to farm, the Humerlin people were learning to travel the stars. With magic space travel the Humerlin founders captured the dreams of a generation, and the scourge of ours.
The Empire of Humerlis was larger and grander then most, with the grandeur of 90 billion Roman Empires, and the Strength of a trillion Americas. This grand empire was best described as a beautiful red apple, a wonderful life giving gift from nature that was the in the blood of Quadrillions. Aesthetics can be deceiving however, for underneath this red apple is a rotten core, the worms and insects rob all life from this magical thing. The apple is Humerlis, the worms and bugs are the aristocracy and imperialist politicians that rule her. This is what happens when a nation betrays its soul and its people. This is the tale of how a nation that spans 65 galaxies falls to its knees.. This is the epic saga of the finale nails in Humerlis’s Coffin. To many this is the end of civilization. To others this is the reclamation of a glorious past. Yet many more view this death as a necessity for the survival of society.
Most non Humerlin subjects of the Empire live in poverty and hopelessness. The proletariats live in poverty because, of the wicked domestic and foreign policies of Alpha Shub II. Shub was of the old blood. He was from a family that has had a deep influence on Humerlin politics for generations. Shub is one of the worms sucking the remnants of life out of the rotten apple core.
The people of Humerlis live in despair because they do not realize there suffering is almost over. They are hopeless because they are unaware of an ancient spacecraft, undergoing a temporal reversion. They cannot even fathom this is even possible. They cannot fathom that one man from the past will change there world forever.
The founder of the Humerlin Empire Alpha En Subha Hummer once said. “The Humerlin age will be an age of legends and wonders.” This prediction came true. Though the history of Humerlis has within it millions of legendary heroes, few are aware of these heroes however. Most Humerlin citizens cannot even read about the exploits of these ancient heroes.
The peasantry shouldn’t even idolize these heroes. The ‘heroes’ are the reason they are illiterate servants of despotism. The ones that heard of the Humerlin heroes pray to there regional gods and saints for one thing… a Hero. There prayers will be answered. Not by mythical pantheons of gods, but by a miscalculation.
This Hero is different for one reason. He was not an aristocrat, we wasn’t even Humerlin. This was a man. He was a man of logic and science, born in poverty, and one who will become an enemy of multiple states and empires. This man is Joseph Millennium.
Like legendary heroes Hummer, Nocngkclon, Velteroos II, and Notlic they were all given titles. Millennium will be known as Xin Ohm Shour. When translated to the tong of men it roughly translates to Hero of the people.
