... characters in sci-fi (in your opinion). No poll because I really don't feel like racking my brains for all the possible candidates.

Mr. Bean, you say this anime character never kills anyone, and yet he has a $60 billion on his head for destroying TWO CITIES. Why did he do that?!

He didn't. It was in a fight between him and his eeevil brother, who wanted to kill everyone. Then he became amnesic, IIRC.

The show ends with him finally succedding in ending the job

Dalton hasn't seen the last 6 episodes of Trigun yet.

Don't spoil it for him.

He knows WHO the Gung Ho guns are, he just hasn't seen them in action yet.

Probably some of the characters in the Culture series would win all three counts easily. Not having been able to find any of the Culture books to read (hint, hint, hint) I wouldn't know for sure, however.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

He destroyed two Citys not BY his hand-but through him, The first time his Brother suprised him with it and he had no idea what the "Beam Cannon Thingy did" It sure as hell does not look like its able to blow up 10KM sized Areas but apprently so

Anyway the first time he had no idea what he was doing and such was his angst at what he did that he completly repressed the memeroy for a time

Second time Legato was Telekenticly and Telepathicly forcing him to fire just as the Preacher was forced to fire at Nicholas
He killed only a Single person ever by his hand and that was Legato who had in a worst case senarior(Multiple Hostages being made to Telekenticly kill or almost kill each other, He even forced Vashs gun telekenicky right up aginst his head and you can see Vash straining to pull the gun away, BTW Legato tried to make him blow up another city but he made it the third time and fought it off)
