Monitor suggestions

Post by The Yosemite Bear »

Well we must bid a fond farewell to the Impressions 3 plus, she is 9 years old, that's quite a lot in computer time, she now has a perminatne burn, her energy star compliant mode no longer works, and she's really giving up the ghost. (not to mention, I can't play most games on her, and the text hurts my eyes.)

got any suggestions for me on a new monitor?

The NEC/Mitsubishi "SB" line is good. Samsung monitors are decent and inexpensive. I would advice going to a store if there is one nearby you and asking them to directly plug the monitor into a computer rather than through their signal splitter.

While the retail price might be cheaper online, shipping can be quite high and you risk damage in transit.
