Erk, forgot to add: The National AWB is about to expire in September, and apparently this one was to be a Maryland state law once the Federal law expired.

i don't see any drastic change. since maryland allowed them before, continuing to allow them shouldn't have any major impact.

Neither one way or the other.

As I said before, the AWB deals mainly with COSMETIC ASPECTS of a firearm, not operational. A crazy trigger happy nutcase could do more damage with a cheap arse shotgun bought from Wal-Mart than some things in the AWB.
