Torma nods in agreement. Evil-natured items like that should be destroyed, so that those with evil natures cannot use them. Would you like me to do so?

Erhart stood a little off to the side and held his silence, letting Jax and the priests of helm take over on this part. Erhart had started the process by giving him the slight push towards the temple, Now it would rely on Jax's will to redeem himself. He folded his armed and waited quietly

Erhart turned and followed Jax after he left, nodding slightly

"The test is yet to come....however...if you give me your possesions, they will be stored in the tower until such time as you may don them once more...the gold however, we will need to spread through westgate...just the poor and working quarters"

"You have done the good deed you know..." He took the bag of holding carefully and held it in his hand, looking back to Jax after giving a quick look over it

"Gaheris still has your symbol, whether you deem yourself worthy enough to wield it, know Helm at least has found you worthy. Return to the tower...and do not worry about the others, tell themof what has transpired here and that you are here to help. If all else fails...I will protect you."

He inclined his head slightly and chuckled

"Let us leave....er..." he looked around thoughtfully for a moment "Just how does one leave this place?"

"Very true, but apart from the sword for one of the fighters, there is really no equivalent for the rest of us. Would it be possible for you to change the nature of the enchantment on the armor, or are we better off getting rid of it?"

"I have never been one for creating items unfortunatly. I research spells, but have never learned how to create items other than scrolls"

"Well, unless our wayward cleric returns, there's probably not much we can do with it. Although it might make a good centerpiece for a trap to take out a few invaders if they make it in."

Erhart returned after a moment of conveying with one of the members of Union. He looked over the belt in his hand and shoved it into the bag of holding with the rest of Jax's unusable equipment for now, just looking more than a little puzzled.

"Well....it is your choice Jax...we have three routes home seeing as I cannot command this belt..."

"The merchant route we may rule out...it is obvious even to those devoid of sight that we are no merchants...The second route, we would have to pay...most likely all of this coin to ensure it's use, however...it would take us there.. The third..."

He sighed.

"The third is the eternal staircase, It is open to all...but it walks the astral plane and we would be vunerable to demons in that realm. The choice is yours although try not to tarry. The thayans are on their way"

He muttered, lifting the belt from the bag to repeat his words "Take me to the prime Material plane"

Silently he hoped for the tower in Westgate as the belt shimmered slightly and a gate of wreathing light appeared before them carefully. It quickly stabilized and formed a gateway for them to step through. Erhart gestured slightly

"After you"

Erhart took a deep breath and stepped through himself. His surroundings warped for a moment before they both appeared in the familiar hall of the Tower. It took a moment to regain his senses properly. His face snaked up into a grin as he glanced to the others

"We aren't late, are we?"

He patted him on the shoulder once and turned to set the bag of holding down out the way for now and crouched to lift free the bags of gold to place on the ground for a moment, drawing around his own handy haversack to load the bags into carefully. This wealth needed redistributing among those worse off in the city and this was something Erhart could at least do without being overshadowed.

"Oh dont worry, you are not late. The ritual is complete and the Tower is 10 miles outside of westgate. We are headed toward the middle of the Sea of Fallen Stars. It will make the Mythallar more defensable until a proper enclave can be built. So long as it is not abused, there is no reason the power of the Mythallar should not be shared with other mages"
