There's much on that site I don't believe (mostly the stuff about space aliens) - though it in my mind doesn't hurt to be a little too concerned.Grand Admiral Thrawn wrote:You have now dropped from stupidity about a nonexistant military project to paranoid delusions about a mind control network, with your only source being a cospiracy theory website with no sources and no proof.
Hey, the anti-gravity fighter disc page actually gave me inspiration for my sci-fi story "The Wormhole War".... (Xril warships use particle accelerator weapons like the rumoured fighter disc)Hell, their page on the F-22 claims Mach 3 capability! And that's the sane part (they claim there's an anti-gravity fighter disc)
As over-the-top as some of the rumours are (such as the stuff about Grey Aliens being capable of interbreeding with humans), there could be a kernel of truth to some of them.Howedar wrote:AHAHAHAHA!!! Element 115 used for antigravity vehicles .
For example - instead of a Matrix-style mindcontrol network they could only allow the mainstream press to say which the gov't wants them to... or something like that.
If I get a VI title for promoting conspiracy theories, I promise I'll take a break with this. Can we agree to the compromise that the USAF has something which they keep secret?Honestly, if Mr. Toker keeps going off this page we're going to be approaching VI-level stupidity.

As soon as you provide a shred of evidence, yes.
(I assume you're talking about entire projects as opposed to, say, the exact range of a certain missile or something)

Okay, then what about this proposal:Howedar wrote: As soon as you provide a shred of evidence, yes.

I currently don't have any definitive proof - but next time I see, hear or read something which proves the existence of certain "black projects", I'll post about it on this forum.

This is really pathetic.
Toker, how can you read and entertain the possibility of all that conspiracy-Roswell-alien abduction-greys-Area-51 nonsense?
Do you believe that the U.S. can build Mach 7+ spy aircraft? Do you believe they've been sighted? Do you think aliens landed at Roswell? Do you think Area 51 has alien corpses or sophisticated black projects for nefarious purposes as commonly alleged? Do you believe "greys" have abducted people?

They're mad ravings of lunatics with not a shred of proof! Why the fuck would you ever think that site to be anything more then pure shit?Peregrin Toker wrote:There's much on that site I don't believe (mostly the stuff about space aliens) - though it in my mind doesn't hurt to be a little too concerned.Grand Admiral Thrawn wrote:You have now dropped from stupidity about a nonexistant military project to paranoid delusions about a mind control network, with your only source being a cospiracy theory website with no sources and no proof.
Nice red herring. They're claiming impossible things with no facts.Hey, the anti-gravity fighter disc page actually gave me inspiration for my sci-fi story "The Wormhole War".... Oh for crying out loud what kind of bullshit insane ranting is that? Matrix style mind control? Do you read what you type? For example - instead of a Matrix-style mindcontrol network they could only allow the mainstream press to say which the gov't wants them to... or something like that.
What the hell do you expect, believing in mindcontrol networks? If I get a VI title for promoting conspiracy theories, I promise I'll take a break with this.Honestly, if Mr. Toker keeps going off this page we're going to be approaching VI-level stupidity.
They keep the full peformance of the AIM-120 AMRAAM secret. They do not fly secret Mach 7 planes all the time. Can we agree to the compromise that the USAF has something which they keep secret?

What I don't believe:
1. I don't believe that Grey Aliens exist materially, outside the human psyche itself. Therefore, it it needless to say that I don't believe that said Greys have landed at Roswell, that Area 51 stores frozen alien corpses (like on the cover of the Megadeth album "Rust In Peace") or that Greys abduct people...
2. While we're at it, I definately don't believe that any celebrity (living or dead) has as much as 1% extraterrestrial blood in his/her veins.
3. I don't believe that a Matrixesque mindcontrol network would actually work, when I think about it.
What I do believe:
1. The USAF may have aircraft which they are keeping secret for reasons related to national security. (they did keep the B-2 and F-117 under wraps for a long time, after all... though the public were aware of the SR-71 as early as 1966) Such secret aircraft are probably to blame for some UFO sightings.
2. I also consider that the CIA might have a vested interest in mind-control (why do you think they did all those experiments with LSD back in the fifties?), though it most likely takes other forms than it does in The Matrix.
3. Knowledge of Nikola Tesla's contributions to civilization has been oppressed by the intellectual and financial heirs of Tesla's arch-nemesis Thomas Alva Edison - in other words: The Edison Foundation and the Edison Institute have - perhaps in collaboration with General Electric - worked to keep the public in ignorance of the identity of AC power's inventor.
4. Intelligent life exists in the universe, but it most likely looks more like the Elder Things from Lovecraft's "At The Mountains Of Madness" than it looks like stereotypical Greys.... and our hypothetical Elder Things have probably not contacted us yet.
I actually feel a bit embarrassed, and I fully take the blame for it.

seeing how the government kept the stealth bomber and fighters under wraps for ten years while they were actively in service before releasing knowledge of them to the public, it wouldn't surprise me if they had something incredibly more advanced being designed or even operating at this moment.
but, until i actually see hard evidence i'm inclined to remain skeptical about things like these myself.

As well you should be, you believe in some country-wide electromagnetic-wave-based mind-control network conspiracy that has no concrete scientific research to back it up in any way, shape, or form. That article you mentioned a few posts up relies on pseudo-religious-cult BS and more technobabble nonsense spewing out of that article than Geordi LaForge on crack.Peregrin Toker wrote:OK, time for a clear-up:Illuminatus Primus wrote:This is really pathetic.

That article is the equivalent of this website's drivel. The words seem impressive, and the stuff mentioned in the article looks compellingly real, and the analyses look sound to the average joe, but closer analysis reveals the completely fake, driveling BS that they really are.

He probably means development time - since, according to this article, the first F-117 prototype flew in 1982, and wasn't unveiled to the public until 1988. The B-2 prototype was rolled out at the same time.Frank Hipper wrote:In service for TEN YEARS?Darth_Zod wrote:seeing how the government kept the stealth bomber and fighters under wraps for ten years while they were actively in service before releasing knowledge of them to the public, it wouldn't surprise me if they had something incredibly more advanced being designed or even operating at this moment.
