Blade movie
Hellboy movie
Inuyasha anime
Aya Brea PS game Parasite Eve 1&2
Donte PS2 game Devil May Cry 1&2

3. John Doe, John Doe: Knowing everything about everything is a plus.
4. Blade, Whistler: Best mechanic is monster hunting business.

Hellboy is good as part of the team, but not the leader. He's got muscle and good detective skills but I wouldn't trust him to give me a plan. And Mr. Hyde is, frankly an aweful choice. You already have Hellboy, who is at least as strong as Hyde and strength is all Hyde is really good for.

I'm limiting myself to characters that have been in live action movies or shows here (reguardless of origin). There are just way too many uber-powered book/cartoon/anime/comic characters to worry about.

Mage: Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)
Paranormal Expert: Wesley (Angel)
