130 is just an impossibly high number- unless the other side was superbly trained and had numerical superiority; I have always wondered if there are places in Iraq where their former specops troops train militia.

To put this in perspective, Company A of the 29th ID, my hometown
National Guard unit, had a Higgins boat land right in front of a german
emplacement. All 32 men on-board that boat died within 30 to 40 seconds
of the ramp dropping according to the placement of the bodies.

forces who used small arms, mortars and RPG's.

At least eleven Marines dead. The death toll may go higher as some
of the wounded are in critical condition.

People were being pulled from headquarters staff to fight at the
