couple more that come to mind. Phantom Quest Corps, think ghostbusters done with magic. (if you can find it), Burn Up, and Burn Up W are also recommended. police action/comedy style anime.

I only saw one episode of Puni Puni Poemi, but it was hilarious. It's sort of a continuation of Excel Saga.

Just thought of another one....Nadesico. Its hilarious but most of the humor comes from the parodies of other animes, so you gotta be well versed to get a lot of it. I recommend it, tho
