You have officially ceded your right to complain the next time someone calls you a Bush zombie

I don't think I complained about Vympels comment on that... Just Durandals

Please enlighten me as to the legitimate reason someone has for voting for a religious fundamentalist with a shitty civil rights track record and even shittier fiscal one. I'm really genuinely curious as to the reasons someone who isn't a religious fundamentalist has to vote for Bush.

if worst comes to worst, we can always look forward to the 2008 Rudolph Guliani v.s Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign.

That'd be an interesting race. I still wish McCain would've gotten the Republican nomination in 2000 though.

Oooh "get a life" what a fucking great comeback.

I care because what the US does AFFECTS the REST of the WORLD.
The fact that there's fucking moronic assholes like you who dont appear capable of thinking for themselves bodes very badly for the next 4 years.

Come on, surely if you have your reasons you can list them numbnuts.

Even if they're stupid reasons at least you'll have proved you do have a reason other than "Uhhh....Bush...."

So, basically, he's voting down party lines because then he doesn't have to think. That sort of stuff is at the heart of what's destroying America.

In hindsight, I do wish Howie Dean had won the Democratic nomination
instead of Kerry. Then we'd just have a naive guy running as the
Democrat candidate, instead of a grade A scumbag.

Tried for Iraq? The President is Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the United States. He had full authority to issue the orders he did; you can't impeach him for acts that he has every right to perform whether you like them or not.
Why can't you impeach him for sending people to die for a great fat lie? Clinton was impeached for lying over much much less important things.

Lying, perhaps?
Perhaps, but not sending the troops. He had every right to do that whether you care for the action or not, and "I don't like him" is not grounds for impeachment.
They're connected you dummy. He lied about Iraq and that lie caused the deaths of hundreds of Americans; it's the families of the dead who would bring him to justice in my question.

JFK was elected well before Clinton. Does Kerry's middle name begin with an "F"?

What's he done that's so awful? All I've heard is what the Bush smear campaign has said, which is basically that he's changed his mind on a couple of issues over the years. Specifically, what makes him appreciably worse than Bush?

I don't know whom I i should vote. I don't like bush, I don't like Kerry, but I think bush has a greater chance of winning. I wouldn't want to throw my vote to someone I don't think will win anyway.

Plus, I like people who support the military.

There isn't a WTF in the world big enough to adequately express myself.

First, what the fuck does it matter if the person you vote for doesn't win?

Second:
a) In the 2000 election, Gore actually had a higher proposed military budget than Bush.
b) Bush has done a lot to screw over the veterans

How can you say Bush "supports the military" in any way except bullshit rhetoric?

Boldface mine.

That makes no sense. So you're going to vote for the guy who you think is going to win. :wtf: Unless you have some paranoid fear that Bush will have everybody who voted against him tracked through the ballots and rounded up as traitors to America you have just made one of the stupidest reasons to vote for a candidate that I've ever heard. Is it all just a popularity contest now?

I admit, I'm no fan of Kerry, but let's look at it this way: Bush is a guaranteed fundamentalist moron who wants to strip away our civil liberties to impose a theocracy on America and WILL NOT have to worry about re-election. Kerry is not a guaranteed fundamentalist moron, etc, and WILL have to worry about reelection. Kerry won't be able to run roughshod over everything immediately because he knows if he does, he'll be kicked out in the next election. Bush is already running roughshod with an election coming up...just imagine when he doesn't have to worry about it and can do whatever the hell he wants without personal political repercussions.

Like in Howedar's sig, I'm voting "Not Bush."

If by support you mean people who send them off to a country in which they do not belong on vague ASSUMPTIONS and outright LIES, and getting them messily killed, maimed, ripped apart by rabid crowds, and otherwise terrorized, then, yes, I suppose Bush DOES support the military.

And you vote for who you think will win? I weep for the future.

Impeach Bush? Never happen. Even if the congressional Democrats had dicks, they're in the minority, and the congressional Republicans eagerly line up to suck Shrubby's dick.
